It should be Fran explains worriedly since it sounds better, then the other stuff, but not because since that sounds wrong. The same thing can be said in the second part. You're missing commas have the end quote in the wrong place and you don't need to add on cause her teacher was late. That's self explanatory from what she said before, the second half could be worded better to make it sound good.) | |
