Savannah's Boot Camp

This boot camp is designed to help you, @SavannahParodox, to pay attention to the details in the thread you're role-playing in and to help you eliminate any improper RPing ways. One issue we'll also primarily focus on is meta-gaming. What is meta-gaming? Basically adding elements into the on-going RP out of nowhere without any proper explanation. That's the description of meta-gaming we'll be using in our role play, as other meanings of the word exists, but they aren't necessary for this boot camp.

By the end of this boot camp, our goals to achieve would be:

Pay attention to the details around us
Cease meta-gaming
Learn when and where it is proper to add slight details out of nowhere in an RP

@Sailor Lily and I will be your trainers for this boot camp. We'll divide the boot camp into three lessons, with the first lesson being paying attention to details, as you can see from the ordered list.

We'll first start by a few questions that will work as a base for the boot camp. In the upcoming example, Stella will ask you for your advice, please answer her using your OC Savannah like you normally would in a normal role-play.

Stella: Walks into the room, looking flummoxed as she repeatedly itches her head. "Ugh, my head itches me so much! What can I do to soothe it?!" Stella asks.

Savannah looked from the book she was reading perplexed by the woman. Blinking Savannah thought of the question said outloud and thought of an answer, she hesitantly spoke up not truly knowing if her answer was correct, "Maybe it's head lice? I beleive it's of season, possibly. Have you tried getting your head cheacked for lice or just dry skin?

Stella: What can I do to soothe this itch NOW?! I want an immediate solution! Stella whined, itching her hair continuously.

Savannah sighed, "First, stop scratching your hair youre only irritating whatever is making youre head itch. Second, why dont you go by the nurse, I dont carry any hair remedies with me."

Congratulations, you've passed the first mini-lesson for properly dealing with Stella's issue. We'll move on onto another example.

Flora: Pouting, the nature fairy sits down on the sofa, seemingly very upset with something on her mind. "Why did it have to be that way...?" Flora softly questioned no one in particular, yet was audible enough for Savannah to hear.

Your task: To talk to Flora and find a solution of whatever is bothering her.

Savannah walked out the bathroom the faint sound of flushing heard as she walk to her room. Her ears twitched in Floras direction when she heard the fairy speak. Savannah debated to actually go over before her worry over the friendly woman won. She walked over sitting awkwardly naxt to Flora.

"Are you all right?" She questioned.

Savannah jerked back a bit caught at a loss, she never had to deal with emotional situations such as this. She is a logical person and emotional problems are problematic for her. Wanting to help though she tought, "Well what did he say. Are you sure he ment that you two just dont spend a lot of time ir what?"
