My Only Problem With People & Bloomix

First topic message reminder :

I know that people are up and arms about Bloomix. But really did anyone stop and see that there is a meaning behind the name Bloomix? Or are u just stuck with the fact that there is a transformation named Bloomix. If you think back what was the first transformation name? Magic Winx. Winx is the name of the group and nobody found anything wrong with that.

The season is already finished and their working on the third movie. So...just chill It's always an issue with the transformations. Remember when people thought Harmonix was Sirenix and Sirenix was Harmonix?
Why can't anyone focus on how awesome this season is going to be?

they should have called it ulimate enchantix or rosix or something more obvious
by the way i think so far enchantix is my favourite transformation
they look more like fairies and their wings are awesome

Truer words were never spoken. Except the Sailor Senshi managed to say Mercury, Jupiter, Mars Venus (Star/Planet) power and twirl around like a goldfish in a toilet bowl without being defeated.

For me, I understand that it may not have something to do with Bloom, but even if it doesn't, it's the fact that it is closely related to a character ( & one that I wish got a bit less screen time) it's going to be hard to like that name. Even if it is bloomix and I like explanation they give, the fact that it is close to Bloom's name will be a part of it and I'd probably get tired of hearing 'Bloomix' over and over again after a while, it has nothing to do with the reasoning, but the association I get when that name is heard that I'm not a fan of it.

I'm not saying that I hate Bloomix( I like the transformation, just not a fan of the name), but I'm truly hoping it's not official, if it is, then I'll ( in the words of Korra) deal with it, if it's not then I'm happy.

you guys i think if you have been watching closely there might be 2 transformations one 2d bloomix and another 3d another name
so maybe there are 2 names of the transformations like harmonix and sirenix it might be bloomix and nymphix or another name

The idea that it's called Bloomix is kind of awful though I love the transformation outfit. It's really quite pretty and not quite as uniform as Sirenix or Harmonix. My reasons for disliking the name Bloomix is because I find it hard to think of other fairies, like for instance Katy, at some point gaining Bloomix. The name just makes me think they're going to expand and swell up. Couldn't blossomix have worked just as well and it wouldn't have any connotations to the main character who has crossed a line to the extent that half the fandom dislike her. It's simply a case of bad writing/plotting but we'll just have to live with it - or come up with different head-canons. Not like we haven't been doing this for Winx for the past ten years.
