Crash Site

First topic message reminder :

Here is where a Falcon with people in it has crashed. Surrounding you are dense jungles. Those with the observant eye know a narrow strip of sand about a mile to the west forms a small beach.

As the knife came for his head, Lir deflected it easily enough from his face and he got a better look at the savage idiot that had attacked them. He stole a glance at her primitive weaponry and if he hadn't been in such a dark temper, he might have laughed at her idea that they could be a match for a weapon like a phantoblade.

He slowly approached, his blade stiff at his side as his eyes never left the attacker. "First off, we're students not some sort of pathetic hunters." Lir wanted to spit at the very thought he had been confused for some low-life scum.

"Secondly, it's kind of hard to ignore a knife to the face. If you hadn't noticed it's not the best way to make friends" He uttered sarcastically before he sprung into action and wielded his phantoblade as he headed straight for the attacker.

The island girl raised two of her knives in front of her to clash with the phantoblade. "You think I'm deaf to not hear your friend say out loud that you were going to kill my friends?" Fauna asked, referring to what Sylvia said about wanting to hunt for animals to eat. "Listen up pal, I don't care about becoming friends with a bunch of serial killers." She aimed a hard kick at his thigh, seeing as both her arms were already preoccupied in holding the phantoblade from slicing down her.

Kiko would make loud calls to grab attention of those on the ground and start dancing up and down on the branch. He also makes a few gestures to those below, pointing from those people to Lir.

"I can move, but my arm is broken." Roxy says to the blind fairy and begins to once again look for Kiko. Upon hearing an odd nose, she looks up into the to see what it was. Another noise catches her attention and she gulps and looks in the direction it came in.

Jake motioned for Cadence to turn around so he could see her back to see the damage.

"It... Shouldn't be too bad. If it is... We have supplies." Jake said awkwardly, not used to this kind of stuff.

Beth gasped as a knife sliced a few mere inches over her left shoulder. It scraped her shoulder ever so slightly.

She shot up, running after everyone to the beach. She grabbed the Ciara plushie and hugged it protectively against her chest, though she wondered if it even mattered at this point.

Shizuka stumbled as she tried to follow everyone. The crash shook her up pretty badly; she wasn't really injured, but it still scared her. She really, really wished her brother was here.

Her footsteps were hesitant, but eventually she made it.

"Well maybe we should fix it or something at the beach cause it might end up getting hit by more knives." Cadence said to Jake, gesturing a bit towards the fight with Lir and Fauna. She wanted to help but doubted she would be of any help since she wasn't exactly the best physical fighter against knives and swords. The sound fairy started to head towards the beach with hopefully Jake.

Ka'Cova quickly spotted Lir facing of a knife-wielder. He looked around for any more before taking the guess "g-go now e... Everyone!" He shouted out to the rest of the group.

If someone was unable to get going alone he'd help that person to the beach as quickly as possible. Not wanting the group to be separated.

Roxy wasn't sure what to do, if it was safer to stay where she was with Lena and Nim or head out to the beach. She'd do whatever Nim thought was best.

Lir tried to summon more strength to press down on the his attack but it soon became obvious to him that the girl certainly had more strength than he did and he wouldn't be able to overwhelm her with brute force.

Though before he had the chance to drawback from his attack, he felt the sudden impact of a kick come pounding down on his leg. Lir let out a yelp of surprise as he was brought to a kneel. Before the girl had the opportunity to take advantage of his fall, he used his strength to shove her back to give him time to recuperate.

"I just want to get the hell out of here as fast as I can. This island is not going to be my bloody grave and if my way out is over your dead body then so be it." He spat at the ground before her feet. This island wasn't going to be his grave. He wasn't going to lose to a savage. He had a legacy to write and he was not going to waste all those years for a pathetic death at the hand of some half-mad native.

Nimueh listened to the others as they made a retreat to the beach. She turned to the animal fairy, not wanting to make too much noise for she was still unsure where the attackers or attacker was and whether or not those two could be seen. "I can't guide us to the beach, can you see any-" Nimueh started before a familiar voice cut her off.

"Roxy! Nimueh!" Finn called out as he saw the two fairies further out from the others. He ran over beside them and gave them a warm smile to see them both unscathed. "Let's get you out of here," He said as he rested a hand on Nimueh to guide her up and helped Roxy.

He cast a last glance back at Oropher as he heard the specialist cry out. Finn hated to leave him but he had to get these two away. He'd be back though- just as soon as Roxy and Nimueh were out of harm's way...
