The Central Courtyard

First topic message reminder :

The Central Courtyard is a large open space at the center of the school where students can sit and spend their free time. A Well through which the tunnels connecting Alfea, Red Fountain and Cloud Tower to each other can be accessed. When the moonlight shines on it, the well opens a portal, which leads to another dimension with lots water, where the map of the Infinite Ocean can be seen. A Public Square where functions such as the beginning of year and graduation ceremonies are done. It also serves as a landing space for flying ships.

Artemis smiled and reached to her hip to pick up the odd device the size of a lunchbox "we use this kind of technology" she was about to give a explaination on how it worked and what she could do with it before the other two spoke on "wait... Eum... You're telling me I should sleep with others in here?" She asked wondering "I guess I won't mind as long as they're nicer than her" she made a gesture to Lena.

"But eum... What should I be studying? I'd have you know I'm currently at my first year for my training as an electric user... But I guess you don't do thermodynamics and steam systems?" She wondered out loud

"Hey, I'm nice!" Lean snaps at her, puffing her cheeks out. "A lot nicer than the witches over in Cloud Tower! Maybe you should be taking basic magic class like all first year students, along with the technology class that Tenca teaches from time to time."

eros walked onto alfea's courtyard. His hair was still damp from the rain and he needed somewhere dry to go from his walk. Alfea was the closest place. Glancing over he saw a group surronding a young teen woth emtalic hair, she looked rather strange and stroppy with her actions and look of distress at the others. He walked to a bench and sat down on it. Folding his arms and subtly listening in at the conversation going on. His intrest was peaked.

Artemis looked at Lena "then if you're nice why do you sound so bossy and judgemental?" She turned to her "All you do is make gestures I'm crazy and you never said anything nice to me" she pouted a bit and crossed her arms "even though your hair is really wierd without metallic looks I kinda like your haircut though" she tried to make a compliment to soften Lena up. From the corner of her eyes she took notice of the guy showing up

"Take it easy girls, especially you Lena. There is no need to berate one another, remember this must all be very overwhelming for Artemis," Faragonda stated sounding only the slightest bit accusing towards Lena. Faragonde clearly expected her students to represent Alfea in a batter way to the newcomer. "You'll be following the basic freshmen courses, it will teach you to control your magic and of course you could take the technomagic classes, I think thermodynamics are covered there. Steam engines on the other hand have gone out of use here a long time ago, the only thing you'll hear about those are in history class."

Matrim nodded but wanted to cisibly distance himself a little when the girls got into picking on one another. "Just get to know each other and don't judge before you know what's going on," Matrim said. He didn't sound as friendly anymore but neither did he sound cold yet.

eros glanced over at the olderman and gave a sutble smile. "seems theres at least one voice of reason at alfea" he thought to himself, keeping close watch at the groups interactions "maybe this elder will help bring some students back to reality."

"You could try taking machinery though." Amara said to Artemis. "And maybe fashion...." She added in, looking over her appearance again.

Artemis attention was actually fully snapped as Faragonda told her that steam engines have gone out of use a long time ago "WHAT?" She stared at her as if someone told her the world was flat and that it's better than thinking it was round "are you all crazy? What kind of stuff do you use now then?"

"Our own wings?" Amara suggested, wondering how ancient this girl was. "If you don't have wings then you could take the bus, a hoverbike, a hoverboard or a hovership."
