The Central Courtyard

First topic message reminder :

The Central Courtyard is a large open space at the center of the school where students can sit and spend their free time. A Well through which the tunnels connecting Alfea, Red Fountain and Cloud Tower to each other can be accessed. When the moonlight shines on it, the well opens a portal, which leads to another dimension with lots water, where the map of the Infinite Ocean can be seen. A Public Square where functions such as the beginning of year and graduation ceremonies are done. It also serves as a landing space for flying ships.

"I understand perfectly, just know that if you need any help I will not revoke my offer," he reassured Roll and smiled friendly towards him. "I'm sorry if you feel I have intruded in your business, that never was my intention," he added apologetically and bowed his head slightly in a slow nod to show his respect.

"I understand it was never your intention. I appropriate the respect you're showing on this." The boy bows his head in return a bit. He looks towards the school, wanting to get back on task, "I should be going now sir, it was a pleasure talking with you."

"The pleasure was all mine and good luck with whatever path you choose to take!" Matrim said hoping he would think of those words as the day progressed. Matrim himself picked up his notebook and quill to scribble once again on his notepad, but now with a small smile on his face glad he had a good conversation with the young man.

With a slight nod, Roll heads off into the building, heading for the Simulator.

Aimée runs towards Charlie sitting next to her. After sitting down, she looks at the old man.

"Who's that?" the fairy asks, curious to know if it was a new teacher.

Charlie lowered the volume and looks at Aimée. "I don't know. Maybe Jolly heard something." the girl looks at the pixie. "Do you know who that is, Jolly?"

The pixie shakes their head, "I'm afraid I don't. He's an odd old man isn't he."

Both girl nods.

"I won't ask him who he is, I think we'll find out." Aimée tells Charlie.

"Maybe you should. What if he's not a teacher?" Jolly questions, pulling out a mini set of cards.

A steady rain soon beings to fall as clouds roll over the school.

"He could be one of headmistress Faragonda's friends." Charlie replies.

"Yeah, but let's go inside." Aimée picks up her bag and walks inside, with Charlie and Jolly.

Suddenly from the clouds, a green and yellow stream of thunder arcs towards the school, before it strikes the ground just in front of the well.
