First topic message reminder :

I think the costume design and the art department for Winx Club was either very lazy or #smokingthatlilo during the design sessions for these clothes. The transformation outfits are cute (aside from those tights Flora has) but everything else just begs to ask if they were going over board with matching (dance outfits) or someone saw nana's quilt and thought 'this will look great on the Winx'

Sorry Lily, I love you and I think you're a wonderful girl, but those patchwork skirts are an abomination! The leopard print dresses are another atrocity. My friend Merissa saw them and thought they'd headed back to Biblical times and caught leprosy. LOL.

So no, this won't be a thread where everyone is going to agree with everyone else. We're obviously going to debate and not agree, But I feel that if we all respect each other things will be fine on this thread. So everyone do your worst and say how you really feel about all of the outfits for season 6 of Winx Club.

Definitely not a fan of them. Most likely never will be. However they would make nice quilts.

I miss the season 3 and 4 outfits. Back when Stella didn't look like a wedding cake.

The Cafe ones were probably the only good ones in season 5 IMO

I asked my 9 year old today, she said Bloomix is too weird. That was from the fanbase. I can't wait to show her the clothes *shudder*

I asked my cousin, which is 11 now, and she said she really likes Bloomix..Shes having a sleep-over here and since she likes Winx as well, and you've asked your daughter, I thought I could also ask someone younger Very Happy

I could ask my 2 year old, but then I'll probably have to hear 'Magic Winx Bloomix' for the rest of the month. Imagine what that could do to my sanity and the message boards.

I will say that I like the wings for Bloomix.

So the outfits where they appear in school outfits aren't Alfea uniforms. Those were just clothes designed by Stella, pursuing her career as a Fashion Designer. I'm already use to their Season 5 outfits, so adding more change would get tiring.

Yeah, I felt a little more relaxed when I realized those weren't actually Alfea's uniforms. Now I'm okay with the college look, all fashion pieces from the same collection usually look similar. But still, thank god they dropped that huge amount of pink we saw first. I don't think my eyes could handle it.

I think she went a bit overboard with the idea that you can mix patterns as long as the colours are close and honestly if you want to compare the two, I liked the ones from the trailer as opposed to the ones in the actual scenes.

However the hair is better for Flora in the show than in the trailer. I really wish they'd show Stella going through some studies for her fashion design dream along with these new challenges or had at least shown that prior to them losing their powers. Who knows, maybe after this Stella will find that she has to buckle down and study to become a professional.
