Since I grew up watching 4Kids and Rai dub, I noticed that 4Kids cut a lot. so I was watching 4Kids opening Season 1 and I noticed:

I'm pretty sure that it's the original 1999 fairy sketch of Bloom. It really looks like it. Anyway,

I'm not really sure about the wings part. It would either be Aisha's wings are Materializing or That's just Bloom's wings.

I honestly don't see how those are wings I can just see bubbles around it

You can see it like just before it materializes.

I never really took close attention to the opening. If that is part of the Sirenix 2D transfo, it must be so different from the CGI version Razz
