Dormitory Two

First topic message reminder :

A room that sits empty for now for new students that arrive. Ka'Cova, Lir (Oropher), and Azarias are residing in this dorm.

Ka'Cova headed out to the red fountain Circle for some observations of the others as well as a possible sparring match. Not knowing about weekends due to his 7 day a week training he neither seemed to grasp the sense of relaxation apart from writing and reading.

Oropher swiftly made his way into his room, clutching his side and fumbled around his desk for his first aid kit. He sent about half the things on his desk crashing to the floor in a raucous, thankfully the dormitory seemed empty for the time being, so there wouldn't be anyone knocking at his door.

As he found his kit, he pulled it out and lifted his hand to look at the bullet wound. It wasn't a pretty sight but it wasn't fatal. Using a pair of tweezers, Oropher very carefully tried to remove the shards that he could see. Every part of him screamed against him going anywhere near the exposed tender flesh, but it had to be done.

He bit down on his lower lip as he took each visible part of the bullet out of his side. It was a slow and painful process but he eventually finished. Panting heavily, he applied a bandage. At last, when he was done, he took a couple of strong painkillers. That should be enough for the moment.

He laid on his bed, he'd wash the floor later. For now, he needed to get in contact with Lady Blackwood. He ought not make the call in Red Fountain, he didn't trust Azarias or that annoying little device of his at all. And the further Oropher was from him, the better. Potentially, he could always take a trip to Alfea and stop along the way where it wouldn't be likely for him to come across anybody.

He slowly got up from his bed, groaning slightly as he stretched his wound in the process. He looked at the small puddle of blood and the fragmented casing on the floor and decided he'd clean it up later. He was in no mood to do so right now.

Ka'Cova entered the dorm again. Heading over to his own room to retrieve his sunglasses as it got a bit brighter outside before noticing Lir as well as his wound. He said nothing and just walked over and gave a glance at the work that he tried to patch himself up "that.... That w... Won't do" he spoke softy, swallowing in a word in between before getting up and going to his own room.

After a small minute he came back with his sunglasses on his head and a pretty professional looking medkit in his hands.

As Ka'Cova entered the dormitory, Oropher looked from his quiet roommate to the blood-stained floor. Of course Ka'Cova just had to come in at the wrong time- "Don't worry, I'll clean the mess up when I-" Oropher started before Ka'Cova stopped to look at his wound.

As Ka'Cova disappeared, Oropher took several more steps towards the door, desperate to get out of Red Fountain. Though Ka'Cova resurfaced once more- Oropher turned to look at him with his own medical kit.

"No, I don't need your help and I don't want it-" He grumbled as he looked to his roommate with annoyance. Why couldn't he just leave him be?

Ka'Cova gave a calm look "I can't let..." He slowly searched for the words "be so... Poor" he walked to Lir and calmly placed a hand on his shoulder "I know... W.. What I'm... D..doing" he tried to keep on fighting his stammer while offering his help to someone who he previously had a good disagreement with

"Y-your work... Y-your.. In... Infection" he just stated after giving the patchjob a second look over

"Listen as much as I'd love to talk about how bad my healing skills are, I have places I need to be and this will do fine for the moment." Oropher looked to him as he went to get a long coat to wear.

"Don't you have some poems to write or something? This is something I need to do alone-" Oropher waved dismissively.

Ka'Cova sighed and shook his head, standing rather resolute in front of the door "it... It'll open" he just told Lir calmly "I... I need.. F... Five m...minutes" he said "....no more" he calmly continued and clearly didn't intend on letting Lir pass without accepting his help.

"And I just got shot, I don't have five minutes to lie around and waste," Oropher retaliated, casting an annoyed glance over at Ka'Cova. If it weren't for Ka'Cova keeping him in now, Oropher would have almost have been happy to have counted him amongst his greatest friends... at least when he compared their relationship with the turn for the worst that his relation with Azarias had taken.

"The pressure will minimise the bleeding, so I can get everything done before I'll stop at a clinic." He explained his plan to put his roommate at ease. "I'd love to chat but there are things that I really, really need to attend to." He said

Ka'Cova looked at him with a calm and stern look as he kept blocking the path "y... Yes you... Have" he replied to his question "and if... If you stood it'd..... Be g-good with.... M.. Me" he seemed to get a bit more confident as he kept his calm mostly.

He did seem to think a bit over on Lirs words about visiting the clinic "let... Let me help... You to..." He tried to find the words again "the s... Sch... Infirmary" he skipped a word as he just didn't get it off his tongue.

"Listen, I'll make my own way I promise." Oropher said as he placed his hand on Ka'Cova, slowly trying to push him away from the door without using too much effortlest he injure himself more.

"And I'll even text you the address so that you can send me a 'get well soon' card. how does that sound?" Oropher tried as he tried to peer over the specialist into the hallway. Azarias wasn't there so that was a start but Oropher really didn't want to wait around.
