The Central Courtyard

First topic message reminder :

The Central Courtyard is a large open space at the center of the school where students can sit and spend their free time. A Well through which the tunnels connecting Alfea, Red Fountain and Cloud Tower to each other can be accessed. When the moonlight shines on it, the well opens a portal, which leads to another dimension with lots water, where the map of the Infinite Ocean can be seen. A Public Square where functions such as the beginning of year and graduation ceremonies are done. It also serves as a landing space for flying ships.

"Thanks for the offer, but I'll pass. Every time I go to crowded events I get irritable and annoyed and then stuff goes awry. Like, a couple of weeks ago I was at this princess ball and I actually gave the princess a black eye because she was being a condescending hag throughout the entire evening. It just so happened that when she started gnawing at me I didn't put up with it," she used as an example of what would happen. "The party wasn't a fizz really, it's just not exactly my thing. I'd rather sit with a couple of good friends, indulge in pizza and watch a show or listen to some music and talk," she poored and sighed deeply. "I'm sorry, I'm just... I don't know..."

Artemis wanted to laugh but heared the troubles in Zaflores voice, a loud crackle sounded as she discharged herself at the ground before placing her hand on Zaflores shoulder "someone who prefers Quality over Quantity. And I couldn't agree more with you. Now I got no clue who pizzas are, but I have my music and many stories" she explained "and even though I will some day get you back for that pair of teeth you threw at my head I wouldn't mind being your friend" she spoke honestly and calm. The last thing something very unusual for her since she very often was prone to hyperactive outbursts.
It seemed the combination of the music and the heavy emotional impact it had on her had tired her too much to get rolling propperly, and Zaflores heavy words kept her grounded for once.

Zaf chuckled and this time it did carry some joy. "Oh yea... the teeth," she said and shook her head. "Also not one of my best moments admittedly," she stated apologetically, glad that Artemis wasn't holding a grudge, well, at least not a big one since retaliation was promised. She didn't care and now more so than in the club she was experiencing the evening positively. "Thank you Artemis I really appreciate it. I guess I just had to get this off my chest.

Artemis got up and walked to stand in front of Zaflore, holding out her hand "you're welcome Zaflore" she smiled "and besides. I like a few close friends better then scores of distant ones" as she spoke a hint of sadness as a memmory that wasn't too happy on her side came back for a few moments

"Anyhow!" She proclaimed cheerfully again "let's make this a good night! Now whose room should we trash? Yours or mine?" Chuckling a bit at her joke, having found her entusiasm back again.

Zaflore took Artemis' hand and used it to hoist herself up. "We could go to my room, I've got a truckload of movies we could watch, I brought them all from Earth," she said. "I do hope you don't mind a mess, but it's being worked on tho," she said as she headed for the entrance of Alfea.

Artemis followed Zaflore "do keep me away from your electronics then" she chuckled "they're so fragile I can't even hold a remote without frying it" she explained "and what exactly are movies?" She had seen some of her dormmates watching that odd box every now and then but never understood what was so special about it.

Without her magic powers, Noko hadn't much to do but to train her body physically in order to get stronger. Thankfully most of her wounds had healed already, and they were beginning to become less painful. However, although some of here wounds had been magically patched, one did leave scar; it was on her left hand. It seems that it would not disappear. "A little something to remember the experience I suppose." she laughed to herself as she took off some of the bandages to reveal some healed parts.

With everything that's happened so far, she was glad to be looking up at the sky and not see anything. No future visions, no monsters attacking, no storms, just a wonderful clear day. The sun shone upon her face, and even if it's just for a little while, she enjoyed how it felt, but knowing too much exposure will cause her to weaken, she slowly stepped away from the sunlight and into the shade. Out of nowhere, she began to sing. "I hear Alourian bells a-ringing, Photon cavalry choirs are singing, be my mirror, my sword and shield, my missionaries in a foreign field. For some reason I can't explain, the Moon was gone forever, never an honest word, and that was when I ruled the world.."

"Let's see now." Tecna mutters softly, standing in front of the array that Artemis had built. She was adding in a volume control on the message play back and also install a sound reducer since the last one has burned out. While she worked, she listens to the music Artemis had gotten.

A while into the music Artemis came running out if the schools entrance, dodging a fellow classmate while still managing to hold onto the mug of coffee she ever had with her in the morning "Tecna" she panted for a moment as she nearly beamed in pride "whatya think?" She asked the other fairy for her opinion. Allways eager to show her own skills off with the gearwork mechanics. As the music played she seemed to calm for a change, her smile stayed but her signature sparkling in her hair of happyness was strangly enough absent.
