First topic message reminder :

The grande hall where most royal events and balls take place, with balconies overlooking the main floor on the second story. A grand double staircase lined with balustrades is positioned at the entrance. One central crystal chandelier surrounded by four smaller ones adorns the high ceiling. A wall of floor-to-ceiling windows allows for a perfect view of the night sky.

Mina wanted to say something, but knew people were waiting behind her. "We should have tea together after the ball." She said, before leaving to let the next person go.

Diaspro is next and she slowly approaches Lexi, with a small sized box. She curtsies once she is in front of the Princess and slowly hands the box over, "These are the finest crystal earrings crafted on Eraklyon. I'm sure you'll like them."

"Thank you for your lovely gift, Diaspro." The girl curtsies in an absent mind, before being snapped back to attention when she gets a close look at the earrings. "Are these the earrings I gifted you for your princess ball last year, crafted from stone from the Alourian quarries?"

Diane overhears from the back of the line and starts whistling and "ooh"ing dramatically.

"W..what?!" Diaspro splutters, her face livid by the accusation, "I would never pawn an old gift off on someone else! These are from Eraklyon! You can tell by the clasps."

"As a designer, I can say that those earrings could not have been made in Eracklyon, judging by the stones and their clasps." Amara said, walking up to Lexi, looking over the earrings. "But it seems like her royal highness is having trouble differentiating between gems. I guess not all Princesses are perfectionists at understanding the element of their planet but I'm sure you won't mix-up your planet's constellations Lexi." She said to the Alourian Princess, clearly meaning to shade Diaspro.

The blonde's face turns red from embarrassment and she stamps her foot in anger, breaking her heel in the process, "Who asked you to butt in on my business? You just want to make me look bad, just like that..." The woman goes into a tirade of names towards one person and then others. She of course splutters every so often, making her look even more guilty.

The Queen puts her hand on Alexis's shoulder as she speaks to Diaspro. "I'm sure this was all just a simple mistake. There's no need to act brash. Thank you for the earrings." Astrella says diplomatically.

"You're very welcome." Diaspro says grudgingly, turning around and limping due to the broken heel to a corner of the ballroom.

Amara rolled her eyes at Diaspro's leaving and then gave Lexi her present, which is a book bag created by herself which was designed after Aloura Iris' most famous constellation. "You can keep some of your books and there is a pocket to put your sketches of the night sky. It's glow in the dark too."

Lexi's eyes lit up seeing the book bag. "Aruolis Majoris. It's so detailed, you even added a red hue to Dwarf Salaritis. Thank you Amara, this might be the most practical gift yet." She bowed to her friend.
