The grande hall where most royal events and balls take place, with balconies overlooking the main floor on the second story. A grand double staircase lined with balustrades is positioned at the entrance. One central crystal chandelier surrounded by four smaller ones adorns the high ceiling. A wall of floor-to-ceiling windows allows for a perfect view of the night sky.

Beth traipsed up after Amara with a hastily-wrapped box.

“It's a book,” she explained, "cliché, I know, but... you'll like it, I think.”

Miyu came up after, eyes half-lidded and lips set into a straight line. “Here.”

She thrusted the box out, and left without any further comment.

Ally walks up to her after her with flushed cheeks and a forced smile.

“It's probably not much,” she said sheepishly, pursing her lips as she stuck the present out, “ah, it's not that good to look at either. I wrapped it myself, so…”

Lyra bit her lip as she walked into the ballroom. It was magnificent, but she didn't have time to marvel at it - she was already late!

Going up behind the last present giver, Lyra waited for her turn.

Lexi began to choke up when she realized what Ally'a gift was. She had made a bracelet out of a silk ribbon from her old ballet shoe, and a pendant charm in a 4-point star. "It's beautiful,"

Ally’s face lit up a bit. “I’m glad you like it, Lexi.”

With one last smile she turned and headed out of the line, allowing the next person to come up.

Kimberly and Brianna stepped in line to give the princess her gift in the form of being inside a box held in Brianna's hands, big enough for what it seems like a bracelet.

A random Prince is next and he hands her a novel with a bow and no words. And without a word, he smiles and walks away, allowing whoever was next to speak to Lexi.

Soon after the prince had walked away, Brianna and Kimberly had stepped up to give the princess her gift. "Good evening Ms. Lexi, me and Kimberly would like to present our gift to you." Brianna said to the princess in a polite tone as she opened the small box to reveal a bracelet, decorated with sparkly yellow and orange-toned pink beads. "We didn't want to do anything too fancy and just have something nice and simple for you." Kimberly said to Lexi while gesturing her hand to the box containing the bracelet.

Lexi held the gift and bit her lip, trying not to cry. "Thank you, Princess. I... If you'll please excuse me I need to address something," she left the dias with the Queen looking bewildered and apologetic.

Heads would turn as they watched Princess Alexis cantering towards a corner of the ballroom, looking at the promise rings Mina gave her in melancholy.

Brenhart watches the Princess just walk off like there was no one else there. The man scoffs and taps his foot, adding under his breath, "Stupid ungrateful brat best be back soon and not keep any of her guests waiting."

Ally stood near the corners of the room with her sister, talking to her about whatever subject.

“And then she—“ she trailed off as she noticed Lexi walking towards her, eyes wide and chest tightening.
