A forest. A usual green forest. But the truth about its magic is that this whole forest is made up out of evergreen plants. It's said if you spend some time here, your body will magically become energetic.

Roll had a sudden idea and looks to Aisha, but scrambles behind a tree, barely avoiding some of the barbs coming at him, "Think you can trap its legs in your morphix puddy spell or whatever it's called when it turns back around?" Layla ducks for cover in bush, whining in pain at being hit in the butt.

The three birds circle over head and the lead bird, dive bombs at Lolina aiming for her neck. The other two spy the injured witch and one of them dives talons out at Diane, its talons cracking with several hundred volts.

"Whoaaahh! What was THAT?" Aisha yelled before regaining her demeanor and noticing the beetle. "Watch your guard everybody! This could be an extremely dangerous insect!" she warned everyone, preparing herself in a battle stance.

"I can trap it entirely when it's time," she said and nodded to Roll. She quickly realized they're being attacked and lifted up a shield to protect herself.

Genevieve shrieks as she immediately forms a shield -- Rainie instantly did the same thing.

"What the hell" katsuya shouts, summoning his staff to form a sheild around himself. Due to his lack of focus the sheild was rather flimsy and unstable. "Well that thing just came out of no where."

Asami rushes towards the fire witch and pushes her out the way, hoping she would get the idea to run and find shelter from the birds. "Photonis, didn't your explosive spell damage these types of birds before." She shouted towards the fairy. "Do you think you could hold them off untill we fully understand their weakness?"

Lolina swiftly flies from the direction the bird is aiming at and attempts to throw several spells at it, hoping to damage it and destroy some of the bombs. "Beam of Energy!" she yelled.

The beam of energy that Lolina fired manages to strike the chest of the bird beast, but all it does is push it back and causes minor damage. The bird is forced out of its dive and banks upwards. The two beams from Photonis both connect and the avian monster fires a bolt of electrical energy at the ice fairy, only for it to miss and strikes a nearby tree, which slowly smokes.

Zaflore immediately cast a wall of light to fully obscure the line of sight they bird had on their small party. "These things are going for Ruby, defend her!" Zaf shouted to no one in particular yet directed it towards everyone present.

[Photonis]
"What explosive spell? I could try, but I'm not sure how long I can hold them," she said not knowing what exactly Asami was getting at. Upon seeing her combo land and the creature focussing something else, Photonis decided to make use of the disoriented state the creature would now be in and charge head on, if she couldn't defeat it, she could at least try to create openings for others to hit it, so with full speed she flew upwards towards the creature going for a devastating body slam with her entire physique as projectile.

The creature now took to the air and turned to see the huddling party, seeing the faltering reaction of the wizard it immediately lunged forward slamming two barbed legs towards him in effort to hurt him and follow up with a vice from the mandibles.

Ruby yells at Asami. "WHAT THE HELL?" she says while trying to support herself against Diane.

"Now's not the time," Diane said. She quickly transformed and grabbed Ruby by the waist to fly her somewhere out of danger. Her petite fluttering wings lift the two off the ground a few meters to remove pressure from Ruby's foot, and drag the two away from the scene.

The bird that had been disoriented by the red/yellow combo is flying slower and before it can actually react, it feels Photonis' attack. It cries out, trying to thrash at the fairy with it's talons.

The only bird not having been in combat screeches and dives bombs at Ruby and Diane, firing several streams of electrical energy a head of them to prevent their escape.

The third one dives at Asami, aiming for her left arm.

Bashed, clawed, scratched, kneed, elbowed, kicked and punched the bird as much as possible while maintaining a firm grip on her target, taking her on a very dangerous aerial rodeo ride. Instead of using her wings to keep flying, she used them for the extra strength she needed to maintain balance and to keep herself latched to the avian in order to be as disruptive as possible.
