Name: Rainie Krauss
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Height: 5'8"
What Creature Are You?: Fairy
Ethnicity: Caucasian (Earth)
Race: Earth
Allegiance: Good
Origin: Magic User
Powers: Toys
Animation - She can bring a toy to life. The toys she can bring to life specifically are stuffed animals, mechanical toys, action figures, and dolls. The length of time depends on how large the item is; if the toy is small, she can keep it alive for a maximum of two hours, a medium sized toy for one and a half, and a large toy for an hour. (Low-Medium)
Resizing - She can cause a toy to grow larger than its normal height, though they cannot pass her height ever. She cannot shrink a toy past their normal height. (Medium)
Telepathy - Rainie can speak with her toys on a wavelength that no other humans (or some magical creatures) can hear. The only ones who can hear her wavelength and even communicate in it are psychics or other toy users. (Low)
Crafting - With spare parts from various toys (metal, plastic, cotton), Rainie can craft the parts into a toy, allowing her to create new and never-thought-of-before toys. Under this spell she can also repair a toy, so long as it is still considered repairable. (Medium)
Equip - Rainie has the ability to turn a plastic weapon into a real weapon (so a plastic blade becomes a real blade and a toy shield becomes a real shield). This spell only works so long as she is conscious. This spell drains a lot of her energy quickly, making her only able to use this ability for a maximum of one hour. If she goes over the time limit, the toy breaks into irreparable pieces. (High)
Appearance: Rainie has Caucasian skin-tone, mostly pale given all of the time she spends inside. Waist length dark brown hair with bangs over her forehead held up by a yellow headband, and gray eyes. She stands at 5'8" while weighing 130 lbs.
Normal- Rainie typically wears a yellow spaghetti-strapped shirt with a black half-cropped jean jacket over it, blue jeans with a belt filled with plenty of pouches for her various toy-related objects (mostly toy pieces made from wood, plastic, cotton, and metal), and dark brown shin-high boots that go under the legs of the pants. She keeps a red backpack on her back filled with more toy-related objects and pieces. On her hands are black short-fingered gloves.
Fairy- As a fairy, Rainie's outfit becomes a black off the shoulder, long-sleeved, half-cropped shirt, a yellow mini-skirt with her belt still attached to her waist, and dark brown, high-heeled boots going up to her knees. The top part of the long-sleeves stop at the knuckles of her hands, while the bottom length of the long-sleeves ends at her wrists. Her wings are tinted yellow with the tips tinted black. Her hair also goes up into a ponytail held by a black hair tie. [Artwork done by:

Strengths: She's strategic and can come up with battle strategies fairly easy. Without the use of her powers, Rainie is pretty good at making crafts from wood. She has a vivid memory with a time-span of 3 years; after that, they come in fragments, with only the most important events standing out the most. She is very good at hand-to-hand combat.
Weaknesses: Her paranoia towards other people causes her to be distant and keep to herself. She's judgmental and makes assumptions on the spot without getting to know the other person. Her powers are weaker when around psychic users because a psychic user's wavelength messes up her own when interacting with her toys, causing her toys to either not listen to her or go haywire. She doesn't fair well in warm-conditions because she grew up in cool climates.
Personality: Rainie has a well-established self-esteem to the point that it's hard to ever bother her or get her upset. The only way a person could do that is if they insult her toys, her abilities, or tell her to change something about herself. Those are the only known ways for Rainie to go from calm, cool and collected to crazily angry in a matter of seconds. Otherwise, she avoids interacting with anyone that aren't her parents or her toys. Because of her treatment as a child by her fellow classmates, Rainie closed herself off and hardly interacts with other people. She normally just avoids them and so she's gained a reputation of being cold. On the rare occasion she talks to people, she's blunt and to the point, making her come off as harsh. Rainie isn't like the typical girls her age and would rather stay home interacting with her non-living friends than hang out with anyone or go shopping. Although she's got a high self-esteem and a pretty good understanding of herself, she questions herself because she feels she doesn't fit in on Earth or Alfea. She likes being herself and hates people telling her what to do or how to act, which can lead her into conflict with others because she doesn't want to change who she is. Despite her distrust, Rainie does care about people because of her parents, but she doesn't want to get too close or let it show for fear that it will blow up in her face. For now, she's happy with her toy friends.
History: Rainie was born on Earth to a loving family. When she was introduced to what a toy was, she instantly fell in love, and became almost obsessed with them at her young age. When she was 6, she discovered that she could manipulate her toy friends. She showed off her skills to her parents, and practicing unconditional love, her parents praised her abilities, calling her special. They weren't shocked by her developed powers since Rachel's (Rainie's mother) parents were magic users (the magic skipped a generation), and though they weren't well-versed on how to handle her powers, they vowed to help her whenever possible. In the privacy of her room, she began to practice her powers, expanding her abilities from just animation. When she went to school and mentioned her gift, the students laughed at her, and the teacher thought she had a wild imagination. She argued with them, but her classmates called her names, teasing and mocking her. This sudden rejection and teasing caused Rainie to grow distrustful of others, and she immediately closed in on herself. She did not make friends easily, and the few she did have thought she was imaginative and told her to write stories on her powers. Her only true friends are her toys, who love her unconditionally and do not judge her like the other humans do. As she grew, Rainie self-taught herself on her powers, and trained with them, especially when she was picked on by the other students as she grew up. Finding out there were magical creatures like her was a big shock to Rainie, but it wasn't the reason she decided to attend Alfea; she's going to benefit herself and her powers.
