History of TygyotEons ago, when the Dragon Flame created the magical dimension, Tygyot was among the many planets formed and inhabited. The beings that lived on this planet, known as Tygyotians, specialized in toy powers (their planet was the source of toys). Their powers were non-offensive, and so the planet lived peacefully. Over a century later, Tygyot was attacked by their neighboring planet.
Their neighboring planet had heard stories about a powerful source of magic bestowed upon the planet by the Dragon Flame. Details about the mystical power was ambiguous at best, but it was enough information for the neighboring planet to attack. The Royal Family was the first to be wiped out in the ensuring war; their enemies had assumed that, since they were the royal family, they were the strongest and most skilled with their powers. For that reason, they were taken care of first. The enemy forces dug their way into the planet's core, and inadvertently destroyed the very piece of magic they had been seeking. Because of it's destruction, it obliterated the planet, leaving nothing in its place.
There were survivors from the lost planet, and they were scattered across the other planets. Because of their rather non-offensive (and even non-defensive) powers, the toy users were generally looked down upon by the other users. Because they had been scattered, they introduced toys into the rest of the Magical Dimension. While some made a simple living on whatever planet they habited, other users began an expedition for an empty planet that could one day be reformed into New Tygyot.
Rainie's Family LineRainie's early ancestors had been among the survivors of the dead planet. They had arrived at a close by planet, but moved from there. Her family never stayed on one planet for too long, until they landed on Earth in roughly 3000 B.C.E.. Her ancestors were quite shocked when they discovered that the planet was made up of non-magic users, and so they blended in almost seamlessly. They were not looked down upon for their powers, and were happy to finally find a planet that was accepting. Since that time, they've repressed their magic and acted like normal humans.
Official records on the family didn't begin to take form until the 18th Century, when the family moved to the New World. All prior history on their family was told through stories that were passed down orally before being written down and passed through the family line from one generation to the next.
