Honestly, part of me is doing this topic in defense of Diaspro because I feel she's been unfairly treated in the show and because of that Sky looks like he did nothing wrong when he cheated on her and dumped her for Bloom.

I think Diaspro as a character has a lot of potential, but the writers of the show turned her into a shrew which diminished Sky's roll in hurting her feelings. I don't feel she deserves all the hate she's received in the Winx Club Fandom

I don't like Diaspro's character, but I like that her character is there if that makes sense? And the fact she's still around is cool because it gives a lot of plot drama that a show needs. I love her design as well. But yeah, plot wise, she makes me angry. Which is good. Plot in Winx Club is good.

I actually like Diaspro,in my opinion she's a better villain than the Trix.

I think all of the villains are great except Tritanus. Just that plot in the season in general was... awkward. Because it dragged on and on and it was very repetitive and in reality he would have been defeated way before. But you know, they had to fill in a full season.

Diaspro isn't that much of a threat but I like her. Lol, to think she listened in season 2 were she promised to not make her people suffer from clothing disasters any longer and that she'd be a better ruler. She'd be a better villain if she actually started earning transformations as the Winx. Knowing her, she can gain Charmix in a minute and she can save anyone from Eraklyon and gain Enchantix. She just needs to be on-the-spot by disasters happening. Not too hard with millions of gold and magic she possesses.

You're thinking the 4Kids dub Loxa in the RAI dub she never said anything about clothing and neither did the Patcha men. She was only kidnapped by them and Yoshinoya for the pretense that she was still engaged to Sky and Sky would fall into their trap. There was never any indication that she was a poor ruler. In fact considering her current actions in wanting Sky to focus on the meetings about Tritannus and chastising him for running off to talk with Bloom shows that she is a more responsible ruler than Sky could hope to be- Bloom as well. She does show that she cares for her planet and its people even if she has a roundabout way of showing it.

Diaspro's reasoning for resenting Bloom is because she was raised as a princess to marry prince Sky. They both treated her poorly and as a result she is reasonably upset with them. If the writers had any brains, they would have allowed the feuding to stop in season 2 after Bloom and Flora rescued Diaspro from the Patchamen and Yoshinoya.

In the comics Diaspro has been allowed to move on and grow as a character, she even tells Bloom that she has nothing to worry about with her anymore. A few of the comics have even shown alternates where Bloom is still more jealous and agressive. There was even an alternate one where Sky ends up marrying Diaspro because of Bloom's jealousy.

I feel Diaspro's actions are a product of bad writing and moronix convergence.

Lol I never watched the Rai dub in season 2 to be honest. I watched mixed episodes in seasons 1 & 3. But it's good to know the Rai plot you mentioned.

And I truly wanted to believe she could finally become a good person.
From the clip we saw in one of the Secret Videos, I thought she was going to face the Trix at her school, but no. Once again, she picks the easy way out: teaming up with the bad guys. And really Diaspro? I thought season 3 had taught you something. Guess I was wrong. I hope Bloom puts her in her place once and for all, but keeping the drama to a minimum.

I really think they should have left off with her in season 2 deciding to move on from Sky. He's toxic, he's not good for Diaspro. In Bloom he has a kindred spirit as in they are both selfish turds. Diaspro coming back in season 3 was really the beginning of the end.

Also, Aeniara, I haven't seen the new episodes yet. So can you please put your comment about today's episode in spoilers?
