Yes. But you can water too if you choose 50% Ice 50% water.

Since I'm, making her more of a Winter witch even though she's from Andros, I'm going to stick with ice and snow. My friend even made up a good attack for her in our round robin story.

Can an animal fairy summon/control poisonous animals? I mean like poisonous scorpions or poisonous snakes, something that would have poison under normal circumstances. Are aquatic animals okay too, or would that require a water + animal mix?

When I wrote the poison powers, I don't think I intended for them to control animals that have poison in them/can use, so I'm going to have to say no (though since I'm not a technical RP mod at this point, I have no real say). As you mentioned, that would require an animal mix.

I'm not sure on the water and dolphins; someone else will have to answer that for you.

Nope. Animals and poison can't have a mix sorry. Nor Animals and water. But ALL animals can be controlled by animal fairies and they can command them to use their abilities, even if they were poison. But that doesn't give the fairy poison powers.

Wait, I don't understand. So the fairy cannot cast poison themselves, but they can summon a scorpion that's poisonous? Or no?

Yes. That's correct. But they can't just summon it of thin air. It has to be present around her.

I've got a couple more questions.
First, are shield breaking spells allowed? Like if I had a character with a spell that was made for breaking defensive spells of opponents, but did poor damage to them and didn't do much to highly powerful targets.
Next, do gem users with topaz poison opponents, or is it just poison elemental in that it does more against things weak against that element? And can any gem be combined with another (like ruby + zircon)?

Yes, and it should be considered a high spells and you must wait some time before reusing it.

Gems give you the same powers as normal magic users. For example, a Topaz giving the user poison powers will give the same powers and abilities a normal poison user has. And for mixes of gems, it goes the same as power mixing. As fire and water gems can't be used. Also, if you pick one gem, you won't get 20% less but you'll have normal strength but you'll be in gem-themed spells and all.
