So if you haven't heard, Sailor Moon is getting a new series this summer 2013!!!

Personally, I think Sailor Moon is the series that defined the magical girl genre. it's been one of my favorite FOREVER and I'm so happy a new series is being made!

Hope there are other Sailor Moon fans out there!

^I'd found an old guide to the japanese dub on some site, i forget where exactly i found it but it explains how ko is a suffix that means child, while no as a prefix/suffix is of rather than no is no.

According to Anime News Network, it's coming out in July.

Aw man this might have been the first anime I saw, definitely first proper Magical Girl show I was aware of. I got up every Sunday morning at a half seven to watch it too, that was dedication. I just loved it, i even have some DVDs of it too. So I'm really excited to see it again, to see the characters and where they go with it.

I think it's for the anime, the live-action show, and the next Sailor Moon show...

I heard the new sailor moon will be called sailor moon crystal. Sailor moon looks so pretty and about 16 years old in that art.

"Usagi Tsukino is a second-year middle school girl who is a little clumsy and a crybaby, but she is full of energy. One day, she meets Luna, a black cat with a crescent moon on her forehead, and she transforms into Sailor Moon, a sailor-uniformed pretty guardian of love and justice! As a chosen guardian of justice, Usagi seems to have a mission to find the Illusionary Silver Crystal with the other guardians and to protect the princess.

Meanwhile, the queen of the Dark Kingdom, Queen Beryl, also sends minions to the town where Usagi lives to obtain the Illusionary Silver Crystal, which has immense power. This causes strange events to unfold….

Can Sailor Moon really find the Illusionary Silver Crystal with the other Sailor guardians, and protect the princess…!?"

looks like it's going to have the same story as the 1st season of the old show...

looks like it's going to have the same story as the 1st season of the old show...

I thought Usagi was in her last year of middle school in the old anime. This new version is suppose to be more like the manga so some things will be changed.
