Kayla's Story

Ok so I'm making a fanfiction about one of my ocs, Kayla fairy of the sparkling flame. I really want to make it a good and captivating story. Basically it involves her living in Domino with her twin sisters Magica and Lisa, and she's the most unappreciated of the three and also the only one that doesn't have powers yet. This is the first chapter.

Ch. 1: Life of Dominoes
*Kayla is in her room reading her favorite book*
Thinking to herself: Why doesn't anyone like me? My sisters are so lucky to be popular
*Magica walks in*
Magica: Hey Kayla, why the long face? *smirking*
Kayla: Very funny, ok I'm just....tired
Magica: Please, I just know you're thinking of how jealous you are that I won the state championships for basketball
Kayla: You're so full of yourself. Who said I was jealous that you're so good at basketball?
Magica: I can see it in your fsce. Envy doesn't look good on you.
Kayla: Just get out, *throws pillow at her face*
Magica: Don't get mad at me just because you're the only one of us without your fairy powers
Kayla: I don't have them YET *rolls her eyes*
Magica: Are you sure? Kayla, its been 14 years, you'll never get your powers
Kayla: Are you so sure of that? I mean, Megan got her powers late too.
Magica: She got hers earlier though. Besides, at your age, if you don't have your powers, you'll probably never get them.
Kayla: *thinking: Boy, do I hate being the youngest twin
Magica: Anyways I've gotta go, I'm gonna celebrate with my friends
Kayla: Whatever *puts her head in her pillow*
*Lila, her rabbit comes in*
Kayla: Hey Lila, how are you?
Lila: *making mad noises*
Kayla: OOPS Sorry I forgot to feed you
*She goes to get food*
Kayla: here you go lila *feeds her*
Lila: *happy noise*
Kayla: Oh Lila, I think you're the only one that understands me. My sisters are good at something and I'm not. They have friends, but I don't.*sighs*
Lila: *snuggles next to Kayla*
Kayla: Aww Lila, you're my friend right? Oh yes you are.
Lila: *smiles at her*
Kayla: Why don't I have my powers yet? Why? Is there something wrong with me? I'll just forget about it.
*Night comes and Kayla goes to sleep*
*Next day at fairy school*
Molly: Oh hey Kayla *laughing* What are you doing here?
Kayla: what do you mean?
Molly: You're the only one of your sisters without powers, so you're wasting time here
Kayla: Shut it and leave me alone! *storms off*
Thinking: I'll show her, I'll show everyone that I'm special too

*In Class*
Ms. Ferril: Ok students, today we are going to learn a new spell
*Whole class groans*
Ms. Ferril: Come on, it's not that bad, this'll be fun, So who will be our first volunteer?
*the whole class is quiet*
Ms. Ferril: Ok Ashley come up
Ashley: *gets up*
Ms. Ferril: Ok Ashley, now make that plant over there grow with this spell, Nature's Bloom and focus your energy
Ashley: Nature's Bloom *plant grows*
*The class is amazed*
Ms. Ferril: Alright now uhh..Kayla come on up
Kayla: Why me? *comes to the front*
Ms. Ferril: Ok Kayla, say the spell
Kayla: Nature's Bloom *nothing happens*
Ms. Ferril: Focus
Kayla: *sighs* Nature's Bloom *nothing happens*
Ms. Ferril: Kayla are you ok?
Kayla: Ms. Ferril, I...I...can't
Ms. Ferril: Why not?
Kayla: I....I...
Molly: She doesn't have her powers, Ms. Ferril *laughing*
*The whole class laughs*
Kayla: *goes back to her seat mad*
Molly: *whispers* Um Kayla, I hope you enjoy living in your sisters' shadow
Kayla: *angry and yells* SHUT UP! MOLLY GO TO HELL!
Ms. Ferril: What's going on?
Molly: I don't know, Kayla just blasted me.
Kayla: But...but...
Ms. Ferril: I don't want to hear it, I'll see you after school
Kayla: *groans* Thanks a lot, Molly
****later after school***
Kayla: *crying* School was terrible today, I absolutely hate it, I'm never going back
Lisa: *walks in the room* Wow Kayla, moping as usual
Kayla: What's your problem?
Lisa: I don't have a problem, you do.
Kayla: Huh?
Lisa: We know about your little outburst at school, Seriously, someone's got anger issues?
Kayla: I'm the one with issues? Molly started this chiz. She was being mean to me
Lisa: You're kidding me right? Don't blame Molly for this. You're the one that yelled at her and told her to "go to hell"
Kayla: Why are you quoting me like that? Sure I might have said some things in the heat of the moment but..
Lisa: But nothing. Look we didn't ask for you to embarass us out in public like that, you need to control yourself.
Kayla: I need to control myself? CONTROL myself?
Lisa: Here we go again
Kayla: Whose side are you on? I didn't do anything wrong
Lisa: Well obviously not your side
Kayla: I can't believe we're related
Lisa: Well me neither *rolling eyes*
Kayla: Just go, and don't hit yourself in the wall on the way out
Lisa: *smirks* Very funny. *walks out*
Kayla: I hate Molly, I hate my sisters, I hate everyone at school, I hate my life
Lila: *making noises*
Kayla: Ugggh I forgot to feed you again *goes and gets food* Ok now let me open it *food spills out* NOOO!
Lila: *confused*
Kayla: Now I'lll have to clean this up, I'll get the broom *stretches her hand out the food goes back in the bag* HMM? The food just got up back into the bag
Lila: *amazed and shocked*
Kayla: This is, um, definitely something I don't see everyday. Anyways, here you go *pours food out into bowl*
*Kayla goes downstairs to eat and before she opens the fridge, it opens by itself*
Kayla: *confused* Did someone leave the fridge open? Hmm... *takes some food*
I think I need some sleep
