Hey, My names Maisee Lilly Packer. I have two sisters, one younger, and one my older twin (but just by a couple of minutes Wink

) and a baby brother. I'm 16, and i'm going to tell you about my adventure. It's really interesting, because me and my sisters are fairies!

3 months ago...

"Maisee! Get up! You're going to be late!" Sigh, time for school. I like school, but sometimes i wish i could just miss it. But i can't. Along with my twin sister Leia, I'm on the leadership team for Grade 11. Todays a very important day, because this is the day they'll announce the school captains for next year. But I don't want to find out, because i know Leia will be school captain, and i'll just be vice-captain for the girls. The only thing i've ever beat Leia in are puzzles. Mazes, jigsaw puzzles, you name it, i'm great at it. But puzzles wont get you anywhere in school. But i have to go, i'm expected to, and i don't like letting down people. I'll just have to make the most of it. Oh well. "MAISEE! HURRY UP!!". Thats my mum Alieta. She's really nice but she can get SUPER cranky! "Coming mum!" When i get downstairs, Leia is already ready. So is my little sister, Ashia. She's only 12, but she's really smart too. She loves palying with ice form the freezer though.. My baby brother Gavin is still asleep, lucky guy. "Come on Maisee! We have to get to school or we'll miss the big announcement!". Leia is a lot like me, with long auburn hair, and turquoise eyes. The only thing that can really tell us apart is, well nothing. Except that i'm a little bit shorter. As we go down to the bus stop, Leia notices i'm a bit upset, but i can never fool her. "Whats wrong Maisee, aren't you excited?" she asks. "Not really, because you're going to get captain ,and i'll just get vice-captain." Leia can be a really good shoulder to cry on. She looks over at Ashia, who is skipping behind us. "Oh Maisee, you've been working really hard this year, don't make assumptions". I look up at her, and think to myself 'Well, i dont know for sure yet, maybe i did get captain!' That cheered me up a lot, and I (somehow) managed to live through the 5-minute bus ride to school. At assembly, I was barely keeping myself from screaming, as they went through the normal announcements. Finally, atfer what seemed forever, the principal got to the leadership part of the assembly. After announcing the leaders for grades 6-11 for next year, she announced the Grade 12 Prefects. Then she got to Vice-Captains. She did the boys first, then got to girls. She opened an envelope (she's always dramatic like that) and after a loooong silence (3 seconds) she said: 'Leia Michelle Parker'. Leia got out of her seat, walked up to the stage and collected her badge. She looked at me and winked. The the principal got to Captains. After doing the boy (who happened to be Ryan Griffin, my crush) she opened the girls envelope, after another 3 second silence, she asked for a drumroll. The younger grades all did it, but grade 9 and 10 weren as enthusiastic. After this, the principal loudly said: 'The female Captain of 2013 will be... Maisee Lilly Parker!' I sat there gaping for a second, then got up and practically ran to the stage. I collected my badge, and beamed proudly at Leia, who waved back, then at Ashia, who was madly waving and telling the people next to her that I was her sister. I looked up at the window near the ceiling for a second, and i thought i saw someone... i think......

CHAPTER 2

If i didn't know better, i'd think that was a fairy. No way, it was probably just my imagination. I shake it off and focus again on my new role as school captain. The bell rings, and everyone starts filing out. As i get off the stage, Leia and Ashia walk up to me 'Congratulations! I told you not to worry!' says Leia, hugging me. Leia looks at her watch, then says 'We're late! Ashia, get to class, Maisee and I have to go to science. Ashia walks off, meeting her friends, who had been waiting for her. Leia and I hurried off to science. Before heading in, i carefully put my badge in the top pocket of my bag. I looked at it one last time, glittering in the sunlight, before closing the bag and heading in for science.

6 hours later...

'It's gone! Leia, my badge is gone!!' I yelled, throwing books and pencils all over the place in search of my precious badge. 'What do you mean its gone!' Leia said, coming into the room. 'My badge is gone! My Captain's badge! It's gone!'
Leia tried to comfort me, but all i could do was cry. It was so beautiful, so wonderful, and now it was gone. 'What will i do! I CAN'T lose the captains badge! They'll think im irresponsible! I might lose my role! WHAT DO I DO!!' 'Maisee calm down! I'm sure it's in her somewhere' Leia started looking through my bag, carefully looking in every bocket, in every book, in every pencil case (i have a lot). After 30 minutes, she looked up and said 'I can't find it, i'm sorry Maisee' I started crying all over again. Leia thought for a moment, then told me 'why don't you do a puzzle, you've always loved puzzles, maybe one will cheer you up'. I got up, went to my puzzle cupboard and took out the biggest one i could find. I went to the dining table, poured out all the pieces, and started working. After about 20 minutes, i said 'It's no use, i don't feel better at all!' I look outside in despair, when I see that person again. I stare some more, and i see its a girl. Not just any girl, she's got wings! Leia looks to where i'm staring, and starts gaping. Ashia walks in, also sees it, and rushes to the window saying 'a fairy! a real life fairy!!! Yoohoo fairy!! What's your name! Come inside!' The fairy looks at us for a second, then disappears. We wonder where she's gone, when she suddenly walks through the front door. She's beautiful. She's got long, auburn hair, and dark violet eyes. Her outfit is beautiful, a short dark red and light brown skirt, with a shirt of the same colors. In her hair is a light blue hairband, and her shoes are dark brown boots. Her wings are small, but look very breezy. She says 'Hello... my name is Makani, i'm the fairy of the wind...' she looks at the ground before continuing. 'I have been sent here to, um... tell you something very important...' she hesitates before continuing. 'What do you want to tell us?' Leia asked. 'could you hurry, we're busy looking for Maisee's Captain's Badge' Makani stepped back, blushing 'I'm sorry, this is my first field mission by myself, i'm just so nervous. 'Leia!' Ashia cried, 'Let Makani talk! Now what is it you were going to tell us?' 'Oh yes, um... lets see' Makani flipped through a little notebook. 'Ah yes, but first, Maisee, i took your badge. It was so I could get all three of you into the same room. I didn't think you'd see me'. Makani blushes, then pulls out my badge and gives it to me. 'Thank you Makani, but what is it you have to tell us?' I ask. 'Oh yes, ummm ok i came here to tell you three that you are all fairies!'. Makani looks at us strangely, when i realise we're all gaping. 'Fairies! THIS IS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!' Ashia cried. 'Fairies, but, but, how?' Leia asked. 'I ca't tell you that. That's for Miss Faragonda to tell you. I'm supposed to take you there. Come with me'. Right about then our mum comes in. Makani quickly explains whats happening, and mum only nods. I think she's just a bit shocked that her three daughters are fairies. Makani leads us outside, where there is a big ship. When inside, we see a boy in there. Makani introduces us 'Maisee, Leia, Ashia this is my friend, Jayden. He's a specialist, Jayden, these are the three new fairies, Maisee, Leia and Ashia' Makani says, pointing to each one of us as she says our names. Jayden waves and tells us to buckle up. Makani sits at the back and looks at Jayden happily. Leia wispers to me 'She is so into Jayden' Ashia giggles, she has excellent hearing. When we land, Makani leads us off, and we say goodbye to Jayden. He waves and flies off. Makani turns to us and says, 'Welcome to Alfea'

Chapter 3!!

I stand there, before realising I'm gaping and close my mouth. I take in everything. There are a few girls who are walking around outside, but Alfea is amazing. Its so beautiful and, well magical. A skinny, brunette lady comes up and says 'Hello girls, my name is Grizelda. Makani, good work, you can go back to class now.' Makani nods and transforms from a fairy to normal and hurries off. Her normal looks is surprisingly loose. Her hair is down, her clothes are long. It kind of makes sense, since she's the fairy of wind. I wonder what kind of fairy I am before Grizelda speaks. 'I will now take you to Miss Faragonda, follow me ladies.' We follow. Ashia keeps straggling behind to talk to some girls, which is when Grizelda would tell her to not straggle. Leia keeps looking around admiring the beauty and nearly ran into a wall. I giggle and she blushes. Finally we make it to a big double door. Grizelda opens the door and tells a lady inside that we've arrived. I hear her say 'Good Grizelda, come in girls' Before I can speak, Ashia has jumped in and is already sitting on the comfiest seat she can find. Leia and I giggle and we sit down as well. The lady, who msut be Miss Faragonda begins speaking. 'Hello girls. Welcome to Alfea, I assume you've already seen some of it? Anyway, to busineess. You three are all fairies, which Makani has told you. We don't know what kind of fairies you are yet. You could be wind fairies like Makani, Space fairies, nature fairies, anything. We will find that out in due time. However, in order to find out, you will need to attend classes. Ashia is too young to attend Alfea so Grizelda and I will teach her personally. Leia and Maisee will attend the same classes as Makani and two other girls. Girls?' When she said this, two girls come in. They look about the same height, though one has long hair that covers part of her face like Makani's, while the other has her long hair tied up in a side ponytail. The side ponytail girl introduces herself as Akina, then introduces her twin sister, Cara. Cara shyly waves. Akani seems very friendly, the opposite of her sister, who follows Akani and says as little as possible. Akani says 'I'm the fairy of flowers, and Cara here is the fairy of love! Isn't that cool!' By now, Ashia is giggling like mad, having found a new best friend. Leia has gone off with Cara, because they're both pretty shy. Cara more than Leia, but tis a start. That leaves just me and Faragonda. She calls in Grizelda and tells her to get Makani. After about five minutes, Makani has appeared at the door. Faragonda tells her to sit down, then gets the other four to sit down as well. After we're all settled down, Faragonda begins. What she says is not pretty.
