Does Icy really need a Sirenix?

Ok, so it has come to my attention that Icy does not need to transform into her Sirenix to use her oil & ice combined powers. Then what will be the point of the Trix's Sirenix? They look pretty strong in this picture. It is shown that the girls are trying to evade Icy's shot. Why not use their powers shields? Will the Trix be any stronger than how they are in this picture? We will have to wait and see.

But it's also how the use the power. It's also possible that they over think their powers limits and believe that the Trix can take down the Winx with equal power. Remember Disenchantix? That sure turned out smoothly for the witches.

However, with Tritannus's toxic powers, and also prince of the sea, he gives the Trix an edge while battling underwater. Possibly solely stronger in comparison to Baltor/Valtor's power when dealing with the sea.

For now it's more of a race to who will get the Sirenix first, with the Winx hoping to become powerful enough to defeat Tritannus and the Trix, while the Trix and Tritannus are hoping they'll become the most powerful beings in the magic dimension by getting Sirenix and that this'll allow them to conquer the whole dimension.
From the titles on Una Di Noi, I think that Daphne still has some Sirenix that Tritannus will steal and give to the Trix.

Most likely but then how do the winx earn it?

They'll earn it on obtaining all three gems, i.e. at the end of ep 12, or in ep 13.

Hopefully We see the Transformation in Flash Animation. I realised in the opening, The ribbon was wrapping around Aisha's Arm.

Icy needs to get Sirenix because she hasn't had a new transformation since Season 3. She only had Disenchantix for like one episode in season 3 before the Winx used Fairy Dust to get rid of it.

Yeah. If they survive until Season 6, Hopefully, they also get a new transformation.
