Is Nabu Dead?

First topic message reminder :

After watching episode 24 of Nick's dub of Winx Club I found out that Nabu isn't actually dead, he is just in a coma. When the Ethereal Fairies gave the Winx "The Black Gift" they said it would save one person from the brink of death (not actually bringing them back from the dead). So when Nabu closed the portal the Wizards made he used up all of his strength, putting him into this coma. And after Morgana said that she would watch over him till he woke up. Proving that Nabu isn't dead. So now it seems more likely of him coming back in Season 5.

*Thank Nick that they cleared this confusion up by redoing the lines better so people actually understood what was happening, unlike the RAI dub in this episode.

Yeah nabu isnt dead at all....I believe that when aisha sent nabu back to andros, she said he would be alive....then he came back in the second movie, so nabu would be coming bakc!!

VAs (voice actor so your sentance was redundant ) are under contract so they can't release spoilers of the show unless they are authorised to do so.

I can't remember for the life of me who I read say this, but I TOTALLY agree with it. I saw someone say that the second movie could've easily just taken place during Season 4. I mean, it makes sense doesn't it? them having their believix and all, they could've just gone back to magix for a little while when Earth was quiet.

The 2nd movie was in the works while the 4th season was being done and neither work group knew what the other one was planning. The 2nd movie can't even be considered canon IMO because of the inconsistancies with some of the plot. For example you're never told why the Winx have their Believix.

But I do like your theory. I don't know if I like the 2nd movie because to me it just seemed like an alternate season 4

Even if he was dead they couldn't really say it. I don't know how many people on here watch Avatar the Last Airbender, but they couldn't tell you if Zuko's mom Ursa or Jet was dead. In children's shows it's pretty much unwritten in the US that deaths aren't mentioned unless it's pivotal like when Yue died.

I think he's just in stasis. So he'll be back sometime in the 5th season. But like I said the VAs are under contract- I can't even believe Molly Quinn was allowed to leak one of the transformations!
