So, yeah.
Rainbow released some Screenshots from The Mystery of the Abyss. ANOTHER PLOT HOLE PEOPLE. Apparently this took place before season 6 or sometime after Episode 1 or 2 of Season 6.
Fairies, here is the event we've all been waiting for: Wednesday, April 16, at 17.00 on their official channel www.youtube.com/user/WinxClubIT the Winx will show you a preview of the first images from the new Film: Winx Club - The Mystery of the Abyss which will hit the cinemas in September!

I can believe this being before Season 6 starts, or even after the first episode of season 6. Even if they're seen in Stella's couture line, it's a minor detail. I'm betting the show wanted people to see them in their newer designs. Don't know why, since their Season 5 outfits would have made them look more familiar.
Anywho, as I mentioned a lot before, regarding Magical Adventure, if Nabu never showed up, the film would easily be placed after Season 4. But, I'm cool with this movie being an alternate dimension. With this movie following the previous.

The Hub knows how to advertise their shows and even their movies. My Little Pony and Winx Club are both targeted to the same age audience which varies between 2-11 but My Little Pony has better advertising and a better studio that cares about it. With the new Equestria Girls movie, they're releasing mini shorts and dolls to keep the fans waiting, they're even releasing a book.
But at the same time The Hub is more of a retro 1990s cartoon network. They even have Sabrina the Teenage Witch and they just started airing Sister, Sister. Just because they do that for My Little Pony dosen't mean they'll do it for Winx Club. Winx Club isn't Nick's most popular show as we have seen in the raitings in the recent years. Why would they advertise for a show with little raitings? My Little Pony is not only a retro show but also very popular today. It's most likely the Hub's biggest show right now that's why they are doing this. It all depends on the show's popularity. Nick did what they did at the start of their airing of the show because they thought it was going to be a very popular cartoon. And when raitings failed they stopped airing the show as well as advertisment. You got to think of those factors as well as that. Would Winx Club still be popular on The Hub network just because they switched networks? How many fans will they gain/loose because of the network change? /Back to the topic. I think they should have stuck with Magical Adventure CGI.
I think if they switched network would be better. The writers of MLP episodes are make good episodes, different from those new coming from Nickelodeon. Nick just ruined the entire show, Daphne received too many changes. btw is just my opinion i know Rainbow isnt going to make a contract with Hasbro.
But talking about the topic, using NICK CGI was a BIG mistake!

It has little ratings because of the lack of advertisement, Lauren! Sabrina the Teenage Witch is a different show rather than the original, with a different plot and different character desgins. Never mind Sister, Sister that's not a cartoon.
Maybe, it'll turn out different and those are just prototypes..? I don't know, just wishful thinking. I mean everybody didn't like Mythix CGI but once it was in action people saw it for what it was and liked it. For whatever reason they felt like changing the animation for, it's going to be a major affecting factor to other stuff too.
Edit:
I don't know if you guys have seen this or anything but it looks way better now then it was in the pictures.

Doesn't look half bad. I guess it's... true. Tritannus is back, but at least Politea plays a role in the show now. I look forward to seeing her, too.
If Daphne has Sirenix in this, not to mention has a physical body, then this can fit right after episode 1. Especially, if the Trix lose their Sirenix in the end of this movie.

Come to think about it, they didn't really explain how the trix lost their sirenix powers....

True. But at least, they made Politea more older than the Winx. Rainbow changed up Daphne to be younger than Politea. But when WinxClubRUS released the movie posters, I was thinking that the plot was a little off than the Trix kidnapped Sky and such. Did I confused myself?

I don't like the idea of Politea and the Trix becoming like bff's only for power and revenge though. Politea was cursed by the ancestors of the Trix and I'd like to see her betraying the Trix because of that. I'd like to see her having her own motives, different from those of the Trix, like Selina in s6.

The CGI in the last two Winx Club movies are why better than the new version. And what? Tritannus returns? And back into Sirenix? I don't about this new movie, and I'm not sure whether or not I should watch it and see.
