Today, Romi Dames confirmed that Nickelodeon didn't pick up Winx Club for it's seventh season. The series will be over for Nickelodeon viewers in the US.

But to be on the bright side, the seventh season will still be produced nevertheless. Unfortunately, it will not air in the US (and back to the negative side lol). Hopefully some other network will pick it up. It is a possibility that they will produce the new season with Rai English, but that information has yet to be revealed.

What do you all think about this? I wish Nickelodeon would realize how many fans still love this show.

And if "Keep in mind guys, Nickelodeon has a HABIT of not renewing shows after 4 seasons!!!!" if this is true then why is Spongebob and Fairly Odd Parents still around?

I think if the TV network Vortex got the Winx Club and aired it every Saturday once a week it would have gotten better views etc.

And season 6 is going to be shown in full all the episodes will air!

Rai English is one of the English dubs for Winx Club, running from Season 1 to 4.

And yeah, Nick has several shows lasting more than 4 seasons. iCarly was I think 5 or 6, Spongebob has around 9 (originally it was going to stop at 3, I think it was fan response that kept it on the air), Fairly OddParents also has 8 or 9, and there are probably other shows with more than 4 seasons. If this were the case they wouldn't have picked up Winx Club at all.
Looking at the facts, it being the fourth season they dubbed has nothing to do with it.

Shows that gets more than 4 seasons, are their most popular shows, and winx club obviously isn't.

Spongebob is actually getting cancelled now and Fairy Odd Parents rarley makes new episodes anymore. But those are only two shows.

Because I think like everyone else has been saying that Nick did a poor job of the Winx promoting and airing the episodes if they aired a new episode once a week every week it would have done well I think.

Winx Club would be popular if Nick gave it a chance, though; this is all on Nick and partly Rainbow. I really don't think they thought this through.

It's about time they cancel Spongebob, It lost all of its charm since the 4th season...

Cartoon Network didn't only show the Rai dub, they showed 4kids as well. I don't know what dubs they showed where on CN, but they definitely played the 4kids dub here.

I agree with Winx3450, Winx Club is a dying TV series now, it's just not as popular as it was before. Some of that Nick may be responsible for because they put it in such a crappy time slot, but even if it was in a decent time slot, would it be more popular? I don't really think so...

No....cartoonetwork played the Rai version of the show and not 4kids. It wouldn't make sense for them to promote another competing version of the show on their network. Season 4 was also on boomerang according to the youtube recordings...you can see the Cartoonetwork logo sometimes on the Rai English version of the show.

Actually.....i did at one time seen the 4Kids version on CN over here (while my sis was house sitting for someone) and there is record on Micheal's Favorites too that it aired on CN. The Rai version aired on Boomerang (I remember seeing the ads on CN New Zealand and Australia showing some clips on there).
