Today, Romi Dames confirmed that Nickelodeon didn't pick up Winx Club for it's seventh season. The series will be over for Nickelodeon viewers in the US.

But to be on the bright side, the seventh season will still be produced nevertheless. Unfortunately, it will not air in the US (and back to the negative side lol). Hopefully some other network will pick it up. It is a possibility that they will produce the new season with Rai English, but that information has yet to be revealed.

What do you all think about this? I wish Nickelodeon would realize how many fans still love this show.

I don't like Nick either, My little cousin dosen't like Nick but he watches Sanjay and Craig and Breadwinners { And others } But he dosent' like Nick. I simply don't like Nick at all!

I think it would be cool too if CN picked it up. I mean CN shows have been lame recently, except for a few like Regular Show, Adventure Time, etc, so they're bringing back the classic old shows for reruns like Ed,Edd n Eddy, Courage, etc, but since CN aired Winx in the past, there won't be any huge impact since they've done it before.

But like I said before, Disney would bring the show to the top, I mean here in my country Winx isn't aired, yet I see majority of little girls in my school bringing in Winx Club bags, pencil cases, etc. My little sister even has her own Winx lunch box set, so Winx getting aired by CN or Disney really would bring it to the top, which could even cause the show to get more popular and continue seasons with better plots.

You do realise that Disney would make it even more girly and girl-empowering as it is?
They'd have different outfits on every single episode! Let's just hope Disney are better designers than Nickbow.

I don't want to see Disney with Winx. They did pretty well with W.I.T.CH. If they made the show like that, I'd be more than happy. But I can't see Disney picking up Winx, and don't want to see it. I can't see them making the show like W.I.T.C.H., I can see them making it worse to be honest lol. They would Disney-fy it to much

I think Cartoon Network would make the show pretty epic, but the audience for CN is waaaay out for Winx Club, so I doubt very very much that CN would pick it up.

But as Alex said, who said if anyone at all is gonna pick up the English dub of Winx? The way I see it, no one is gonna pick it up. Kids these days don't seem to be into fairies or superheros, they're more concerned about their iPods/iPhones/Tablets etc. Razz

And I totally agree about the gadgets thing, even I myself don't watch the TV anymore. xD

Can I just chime in the similarity between Frozen and Winx? Specifically Elsa? I think one of the reasons I love her so much is she reminds me of a Winx in a way, you know? If handled like Frozen, I think Disney could do a decent job with Winx Club.

Cartoonetwork can't pick it up because it hosted the Rai dub. In all honesty season 7 may be winx's last season so there would really be no point for an English network to pick it up.

Imagine the voices Disney would chose for Winx! Oh gosh, I can just imagine Disney using Dove Cameron as Stella.

I don't think Disney will do that. And Dove Cameron has to play 2 characters in one show, xD.

It's not that Disney uses Dove Cameron as Stella, Ross Lynch as Sky...

It probably will Winx Club is dieing on a lot of places in America from what i heard from some friends. It's not that populair anymore like the first 3 seasons, they had a good plot, awesome storyline and the dolls where the best. But hey, we can't go back in time sadly. Winx Club is just done, they try to make it more populair by adding more seasons but it gets even worse..

Well, it really is dying in the US, but all that is due to Nick ruining it, by delaying the episodes and airing them once a month..., but other than that, it's still pretty popular in italy and france, and more countries, I believe if Winx Club aired in a new american channel, it'll definitely get some of the popularity it used to have...
