I'll admit, I liked these episodes. I like the Trix's new outfits and I like Selina, I kinda liked the fight scenes too. Then again, the Trix are my favorite villains, so that's probably why I'm happy to see them be independent and a threat again. I don't miss Tune and Digit, the former irritated me and the latter just didn't interest me. I actually like the two new pixies.
The only thing that bothers me is that it's all about Bloom. I understand that the dragon flame can't be extinguished, but you can't deny that this is a thinly veiled attempt to stick Bloom in the spotlight again. I really want her to take a backseat or something, gosh. they should hire me as a writer
They really need to stop with the hiatuses too. At least stop replacing it with shows that are subpar or flat out suck. | |

I think they just forgot they're guardian fairies, though. I bet it's possible though, at the very least they probably wanted to make Selina and the Trix seem powerful, which they did do. EDIT: And apparently, they'd lose their powers if they failed the Sirenix Quest, but tbh losing their powers from failing the quest is different than a witch causing them to lose their powers. So it's certainly possible. | |
