Would you want Daphne to become the seventh Winx?

I'm a little curious as to if people think it would be a good idea or social suicide for Nickbow to introduce Daphne as a seventh Winx Club member.

In my personal opinion I think it would be a terrible idea. The writers for Winx Club can't even manage to give us good stories for the 6 characters we have, imagine what they would end up doing with 7 characters.

Ug, I had wanted to add more, but my 2 year old wanted to cuddle, so I can't type more. Just share your opinions, but respect everyone else's.

I think something besides just liking a character has to be considered when thinking she should join the Winx. I thinK Daphne is interesting as well and I would like to get to see her re-learn how to be a solid person.

However I don't think she would fit in well with the Winx. Daphne seems a lot more mature than them and is older and has had more experiences with serious issues than they have. Being a teacher would also make it harder for her to be friends with them.

But if your remember that in season 4 they where suppose to be teachers and they just dropped that in the first episode. It wouldn't make sense to drop Daphne as a main character she has a lot of influence on the series. As we can tell in Episode 1 of season 6 Daphne's not use to her human body yet any way.

I don't even remember Daphne having a body until the end of season 5. You remember the other episodes and the first movie? She was shown as a spirit placing Bloom into a portal.

The writers wouldn't have to drop Daphne to keep her as a teacher. The teaching thing didn't work for the Winx because Bloom moved back a cover from that picture of the Black Circle. It wasn't in the plot, we do see Daphne in a few scenes for the 6th season, but I don't see her being able to be one of the Winx and she just wouldn't fit in with them. It would be like me trying to hang out with your friends. I'm cool and everything, but it's a big age gap so I'd feel awkward.

I think Daphne sticking with the Winx despite being a teacher and the age gap is possible, but the problem is that the writers have been doing a bad job of writing lately. A competent group of writers could probably make it seem plausible or it least give a decent excuse that isn't "well she's Bloom's sister". There are people that are friends despite a large age gap, after all.
Tbh I just don't want her as part of the Winx because I know they'll mess that up. Admittedly she'd make a good mentor for them, though.

Hmmmmmm, as much I''d been in love with the new Daphne, I don't think she's fitting with the Winx. She does have a lot to offer to the group, but that's only as a mentor, I don't see her as a member of the group. To begin with, she's quite too old for them, then there is the fact that she's ALOT more experienced than they are, and she's only compatible with Bloom, much like Roxy, because the Bloom and Stella relationship has been straying off lately, in Season 4 it was a Stella and Aisha, Bloom and Roxy relationship, now it could be Bloom and Daphne, Stella and her parents, relation...Awkward.

I don't understand why age difference matters. Stella's older then them and she's apart of the club. Daphne could be like 6 or 7 years older then the others. If your going based on age then Roxy wouldn't have fit in either. It shouldn't matter based on maturity or age. I mean Aisha is the most mature of all the girls...

True that however, Stella is only a year older than the rest of the girls, plus her immatureness fits in the group, however, Roxy on the other hand is far too young, hence why she isn't part of the group, therefore if Roxy is not part of the Winx, then shouldn't Daphne not be part of it too? It would be unfair to Roxy fans, mostly because we know more of Roxy than we do about Tecna really..

It depends on what each girl brings to the club. Because of Roxy they had to face the wizards of the black circle she really wasn't any help at all. Not meaning to sound harsh but Roxy has no purpose in the group except being a background character. Daphne's basically the one who helped the girls out pretty much in every season. Come on now we all know Bloom would be having a mental breakdown in every season if Daphne wasn't there. We know more about Daphne then we do Roxy or Tecna.

i'd rather prefer them as 6, 1.because i don't like it when there are siblings in a group and 2.especially with those new writers,they could't handle 6,how would they handle 7,so they better stay as 6
