Pokémon Crystal: Winx Version!

Hey guys, are you looking for an exotic adventure? This is the one for you! Today, I am starting a new file in Pokemon Crystal, and with a whole new team. They will symbolize and consist of the elements of the Winx Club fairies. AKA, your favorite fairies as Pokemon! So let's begin, shall we?

Episode 1: Adventure Starts Here! - Part 1

It's 1am in the morning, and I'm starting my adventure of Johto. The perfect time to do so, late at night, right? Professor Oak asks for my name, and since I chose the girl character (because girls rule), my name is "Roxy". She's the fairy of animals, and Pokemon are based of of them. So it seems fitting for my character to be named after the last Earth fairy. Before leaving the house, dear old mom gives me the PokeNav, which is like a cellphone or pager of some sort. It's also got a radio!

Next, I head out of my house, in New Bark Town, to go meet Professor Elm. He asks me to run an errand for him, lazy bum, and that I can bring a Pokemon along with me. Sweet! But which one? Chikorita, Totodile or Cyndaquil? It wasn't easy to decide, but I eventually chose none other than Cyndaquil. Now to give it a nickname. Who by any chance? BLOOM. Fortunately, I saved before picking my starter, because my Pokemon have to be female. Luckily, I got female for Cyndaquil, so the name Bloom works like a charm. Now I'm off to see Mr. Pokemon, to recieve the special item that Professor Elm needed. That was all the way in Route 30; north of Cherrygrove City. So we made our way there.

On the way, I trained Bloom (Cyndaquil) a few levels, and she learned Smokescreen! Way to go Bloom, creating dark clouds of ash and smoke! After we arrived in Cherrygrove City, a kind old man gave us the tour of the city, and what we need to know basically. Then he gave us a Map of the whole region. Score! After that, we made our way north and into Route 30, and reached Mr. Pokemon's house. He gives us the 'Mystery Egg'. Peculiar. We also notice that none other than Professor Oak is here, too! He introduced himself to me, and gives me my own PokeDex. Sweetness. Once we met the two, we head out and return to New Bark Town with the 'Egg' we got from Mr. Pokemon.

Suddenly, Professor Elm gives us a call, telling me to hurry back. Something terrible had happened in our absense! Gah. I always hate it when I miss exciting stuff. What could have happened? Find out next time.

Not quite exactly. Bloom's been dominating all the Pokemon she's battled; but she nearly got defeated by Croconaw. It was a close battle. Smile

Alex: Get something like Hoothoot or something as a flying pokeomn or Mareep to kill Croconaw.

I'd get a Mareep, but you can't get one in Crystal. It's stupid. Sad

And I would use Hoothoot, if it was useful at all in the Generation 2 games. Sorry if it sounds like I'm beating down on suggestions, but I actually decided my team. It got changed up a bit actually because of encounters. You'll see what I mean soon, and I hope you enjoy it.

Episode 11 – Ilex Forest and the Charmix

As we made our way through the entrance to the vast Ilex Forest, Roxy and Bloom (Cyndaquil) noticed how fresh and peaceful the forest looks. However, a young man is nearby and needs our help. It looks as though his master’s Farfetch’d had gone loose into the woods! It’s up to us to go find the rascal and bring him back to his owner. It was hard to figure out where the little creature went off to, but he was a good hider. But suddenly, Roxy notices a strange looking duck carrying a stick. It looks to be none other than the Farfetch’d that got loose! We try to bring it with us, but the Pokemon noticed us right off the bad, and ran father into the forest. Roxy and Bloom attempt to retry every time, but he won’t give up. While attempting to pursuit the runaway Pokemon, Roxy encounters a new Pokemon: Oddish! Roxy fell deeply in love with this Pokemon, and just had to catch it. However, Bloom’s fire attacks would easily defeat it in battle. Instead, Roxy decided to throw her Poke balls straight for the wild Oddish. It wasn’t cooperating very well, and it didn’t want to go down without a fight. Roxy refused to hurt the Pokemon, so she kept throwing all the Poke balls she could. Eventually, the last ball she threw had caught Oddish by surprise. Within a few seconds, the capture was sealed. Roxy had caught a new Pokemon for her team! We now say hello to the newest member; Flora!

While Roxy got sidetracked from catching Farfetch’d, she and her Pokemon hurried for it without any more time left to waste. Flora had helped out for the first time, and use it’s aroma ability to bring the Farfetch’d back towards the man. We head back to where he was, and noticed the owner is very pleased to see Farfetch’d again. Out of gratitude, we are awarded with HM01: Cut! Say, wasn’t the move we can now use, with the Hive Badge on hand? It sure is; now we can make our way through the rest of the forest!

Before we head on, the young man also wanted to thank us for the help. He awards us with an item that will help Bloom out; the Charcoal! This held item will increase the power of Fire type moves. In no time, Bloom had gained her power up; Charmix!

That also reminds Roxy about something; we also received the Miracle Seed that was given to us a while ago from a man. This item can power up the grass type moves of a Pokemon. Without a doubt, Roxy decided to give this item to Flora, as the new member of the team. And already, she receives her Charmix from the get go!
Roxy and her two Pokemon venture into the forest, on the way towards their next destination.

Episode 12 – A New Friend!

Continuing their adventure through the Ilex Forest, Roxy and Bloom (Cyndaquil) are now joined by their new friend Flora (Oddish). As they continue forward into the forest, they battle many wild Pokémon, and meet a guy who is head butting some bushes. Strange, but we could use the move Headbutt in the future!

Roxy notices in the distance of the way out of the forest, so the group makes their way out. But before they do, a sudden noise came from the Egg that Roxy was holding. It began to hatch! Wondering what kind of Pokémon it’s going to turn out to be, the tension rose. It turned out to be a Togepi! How adorable. Wondering what they should call their new friend, they figured he should be called Kiko! Togepi seems very fond on the same. The group ventures forward, making their way out of the forest at last.

The group has made it into Route 34, home to many more Pokémon, plus a Daycare Center! Eager to check it out, the group heads for it, but not before they are spotted by trainers. The battles raged hard, and Flora stepped in to take them on herself! With Bloom’s help, the two were unstoppable, as Kiko watched from the side, cheering them on. Flora had gained much more experience, and grew stronger.

After the group makes it passed all the trainers in their way, and arrive at the amazing looking Daycare Center. As they went in, an Old Man and Woman are shown to be the owners of the place. The man informs Roxy that they had just discovered an egg in their care. Since the trainer did not pick it up, he figured that we can take it off their hands. So we did. Looks like we’ll be having a new member of the team, soon!

Before heading out, Roxy believed that this journey may be too dangerous for Kiko to handle, so she decided to leave him in the Daycare Couple’s hands. Knowing he will have a better time here, yet we’ll miss the little guy. We’ll be sure to come pick him up. Professor Elm will want to know what Pokémon evolved from the egg we cared for.

With the next city just a few steps away, the group heads onwards. Next stop, Goldenrod City!
