Spamming on the forum

First topic message reminder :

I've noticed recently that some people have been spamming on the forum. I won't lie about not spamming on the forum because I have done it before, but I have stopped. This spamming business has to stop because it is effecting everybody and it's taking out some of the fun of the forum. So in general, PLEASE STOP SPAMMING

EDIT: The definition of spamming is: To send the same message indiscriminately to (large numbers of recipients) on the Internet.

I dont like it when Dwen says Yeah IKR/IDK/lol. You dont need to post those things =.= just because it's funny, doesn't mean u have to post lol. or else you'll become like him:

I think a better way to stop the short responses, like "yeah I agree", how about go on with it and explain why you agree. It'll add to the discussion and have others wanting to post their thoughts and discuss with yours. That's why we call it a forum talk. Razz

Thank you again for posting about this. I've been thinking the same thing, but I never got to making a topic for this issue. But I have been taking notice, so I'm glad I'm not the only one.

Now I know what spamming thing is, I really don't get it at first. I thought if it is about the message things on e-mails or somethings. Thanks for telling us not to spam. Smile

Even though this topic exists, it's in the rules, and people seem to be paying attention, there are still users replying with a simple "I agree". Surely this also counts as being spam? There is no body to the post what-so-ever. I wouldn't mind if the users also added something such as "I agree. I think Sirenix is better in 2d too". But instead I'm having to trawl through people quoting someone just to say "I agree", and then someone quoting them with a "Me too" and so on T^T
