Fauna's Camp

First topic message reminder :

Positioned on a small peninsula in the south western part of the island is the camp where Fauna and her animals friends live. The place has several cashes of hidden weapons in the trees and the place is very defensible. Just don't give the little purple Kangaroo fairy animal candy.

[Narrative]

It's getting really dark now in the forest. People that haven't foraged for food will start feeling the very first effects of hunger setting in. Also, where during the day the temperature had been well within acceptable bounds, it already is getting colder. People not well equipped against cold will experience the effects like trembling and a generally cold feeling.

With some animals that roam the day going into hiding to sleep for the night, the first dwellers of the night leave their nest, making for an altered ambient sound, as most of the bird's chirping dies down. Many small critters move through the brush, causing them to move along with the sound of skittering steps over the dry leaves covering the forest's bottom.

Kiko begins to shiver slightly and would try and gesture to pick him up and share body heat.

Ka'Cova wouldn't have spoken a word since his arrival. Just sitting at the edge of the camp as he just stared at the distance. Seeing Kiko's gestures he just picked the small bunny up and giving him some of the red cloth of his outfit that he could detatch, petting his head before letting him go again.

Even though he carried a decent part of the supply of scavaged rations from the ship he hadn't actually handed some out for nobody asked him for it so far.
As he sat being a guard he took his small notebook out together with a pen and started to scribble down some lines of poetry that he needed to get off his mind. His frustration hadn't decreased over time.

Kiko cuddles up in the red fabric, feeling a tad warmer. He would look at the others, wondering what they would do for warmth.

The night slowly wears on as everyone sleep, maybe one or two people remaining awake to keep watching. Soon, light returns to the island, but with it, the loud calls of some odd sounding creatures from some other part of the land arrives at the camp. The creatures seem to be talking and asking some questions, not really shouting at all. One voice even has an apprehensive and curious tone to it.

Please note, you can only hear the creatures, you can not see them for they are not at the camp. They are a good distance away.

Waking up, sylvia rubbed her eyes and slipped on her heels, greeting the day with a yawn and look of disaproval due to the state of her nails, they had all splintered and cracked and unfortunetly for her, she forgot to bring her nail polish.

After a few moments she hearing the creatures, sylvia mearly let out a sigh, Folding her arms and keeping her guard up for any surprise attacks, not sure what these creatures were after or where they were exacally.

Ka'Cova had spend all the night awake to keep guard. This rendered him rather tired in the morning. Hoping an energy bar from the supplies he had salvaged kept him away. Bags under his eyes as he sat still with his sheeted odachi on his lap. Staring into the jungle as none other had offered to stand guard apparently.

As dawn broke he yawned loudly and had to keep rubbing his eyes to not fall asleep.

Roxy wakes up, feeling slight pain in her arm and a bit tired. She felt hungry and a bit thirsty. She could hear the odd creatures, but didn't have the energy to go check them out.

Brenda woke up with half of her hair in her mouth, she slowly got up and tied her hair into a bun and took a deep breath before stretching.

The earth fairy heard the creatures and stretched a bit more to get into form just in case they came towards them. Who are they? she thought blinking
