Hello! I hope this is the correct forum for this, if not please delete and or move. I am ok with it.

Ok, as I noted in my intro thread, I do fan fiction. Currently on the fan fiction website I am writing the AVP story "Loving the Dark Heart". It will be completed in a few months or so. So it is my focus till it is done.

However my daughter wants me to do a Winx fan fiction. So I told her I would start researching it. We both watch the show, and enjoy it, so I am not totally clueless.
However I could use some input on my idea and a general place to bounce ideas as they come.

I am planning my story to be centered on the Trix, it will be a redemption/romance story. It will take place some time after the end of season 6. I have to arrange for them to escape the legendarium world.(either them selves or are broken out)

Now my idea, is that after they get out, they have a discussion regarding their future. They have been beaten, battered and used for the last few years with nothing to show for it. Other then some nifty scars and bitter memories. They decide to just lay low, relax and do nothing strenuous.

So here is one part I need to figure out. Do I either create a OC world that is on the far edges of the Winx'verse map, that was obscure and unused in the show, or do I have them take refuge on Earth. I love either idea, and am leaning towards Earth as that would be easier for me.

Now I planned on having a OC character. He will be a single dad with a small little girl. The little girls mom will either have died at child birth, or in a car accident just before it and only the baby made it.

I have this idea of the Trix getting found by the Winx and a huge battle occurs. The Winx win. So here is a opportunity for my OC to ingratiate himself to the Trix. He could intervene on their behalf and get hurt(not a good idea but its a start) or he intervenes after the fact.

So after this battle there is lots of damage, lots of fires started, destruction every where. Our OC may not know who the Trix are(this is what im leaning to). He is trying to save people caught in a burning ware house, but instead comes across ICY, who is unconscious and badly hurt inside. He rescues her, as there is no one else there. Once he gets her outside, he runs into a injured Stormy and Darcy, who are in bad shape as well.

Their will be some back and forth about going to the hospital and they not wanting to, and they don't want to be seen. They are desperate to get out of the public. So he takes them to his home.

Now from there, a friendship starts between the Trix and this mans little girl, and specifically Icy, who the girl just adores for some reason. I will be blatantly ripping off Frozens theme of "love will thaw". However it wont be the OC males love initially that thaws the Ice queens heart, but that of his child. Which will naturally lead to romance between Icy and OC dad.

As you can see this story will be fraught with angst and inner conflict. They will have to decide between a more humble happiness or trying to ditch the family and get back to mischief. Of course I have to get the Winx club in the story some how so maybe they can be searching for the Trix.

So what do you guys think? I didn't put a lot down as I could write out a muti thousand word outline of my story, from a general sense. However that would be hard to read. I hope that I have given a good outline for your imaginations to spring from.

I am open to any suggestions and ideas. I just hope not to get shot down to hard for this. As I have been searching for trix romance over on FF and found only a few. I like the story "The Shard" the best out of what I have found so far.

I know that this will be the most ambitions and likely difficult story I have written yet, and I relish the challenge.

Ok, I am making my general outline, and have come up on a mundane but possibly important question. What do the witches eat? I read in a lot of Fan Fics, that have them eating bugs, and say they cant taste sweet things..

Now this may have been covered in a episode I have missed, if so ill go back and try and find a mention.

Secondly, how fast does their magical energy recharge? Say after a bad injury. The reason I ask, is that my outlines beginning requires that the Trix be injured, and are practically useless for a while. Which means OC dad has to take care of them.

I plan on Icy being more injured then Stormy or Darcy, with major cuts and broken bones and possibly being unconscious for a while. My idea is, that after they get back to his place, Darcy and Stormy use what little magic they have left to set all of Icy's broken bones. However, they are spent and cant fully heal her. Due to injuries sustained, they are not regenerating their magic quickly.

So part of the "bonding" process between OC dad and OC daughter and the Trix, will come from them helping to change bandages and cleaning wounds, also keeping them company as they are bedridden.

Witches eat just about anything a normal person would eat. The recharge process for magic has never been really been brought up so it can be anything you want.

I thought as much, but I figured I would ask the more knowledgeable here. I have the opinion that it could be fast or slow depending on a lot of variables. It stands to reason that injuries will slow it. I am glad is a open ended, allows me some latitude. I get the impression they have a Vast reserve of energy, but how fast it recharges is again, variable.

Them eating normal food is good, as that would make for some awkward dinners if other wise.

I would think due to the injuries, their magic energy would meander back rather slowly, thought it would allow for some good interactions between the daughter oc and Icy or one of the trix.

That is exactly what I was thinking. Now with Icy being more hurt, her interactions with the child would likely be of the verbal variety. I see the other girls being more able bodied and able to move around more so they could be out in the living room or some such having more interactions with her.

My grand plan so far, and it likely will evolve, is that Icy will soften through witnessing OC dad with his girl, at least for the first few chapters. Then its interactions with the daughter that really melts her heart

Icy, being the eldest of the sisters, is the only one with any memory of their father. He was a source of happy memories for her. I get this vision of Darcy and Stormy, desperately needing love, which will eventually be given in the form of fatherly(or very close but plutonic ) love. Now Icy is not a blind fool. She will know that her sisters are happy, happier then she has seen them in a long time. That, combined with her blossoming friendship with OC daughter, will go a good distance to warming her.

She will have her inner conflict and angst of course which is the main conflict of the story.

The biggest challenge will be setting up the romance between OC dad and Icy. I doubt she will be quick to give out her heart after events of previous seasons. I see her being reluctant and maybe giving off only the most subtle of clues that she is receptive. I see OC dad being a bit on the hesitant side of this, not being "assertive" with the pursuit at all.(which might be better for his health)

So I see the romance developing slowly, with one of them taking a risk and making the first move. Something small, maybe starting off with Icy sitting closer to him on the couch while tv watching, to eventually subtly making her hand available to be held and going on from their. VERY slowly and hesitantly.

That's all things that I think would work in this and a slow burn on the romantic development is a good idea.

I am glad you think it is a good idea. I plan on the Darcy/Stormy side of things being very important to the Icy side of things. My thoughts on them, has been that, they have only ever wanted positive and affectionate interactions, just to be felt loved. For example their competition with each other for Valtor's affection. They mistook their feelings for romantic, when all they really wanted was simple positive warmth from what amounted to a father figure.

Sure sisters love each other despite the merciless ribbing they do to each other.

This will be that kind of story, were sure you get to see the brash and confidant side of Icy, but also see the softer side as well. She cant always be crazy and harsh, its inevitable that she will become softer. I just hope die hard fans can accept that.

There are a lot of fans who have written stories with them showing a different side of themselves as well as Diaspro. So I'm pretty sure there are a few who will accept that.

Hey guys. Sorry I have not been very talkative lately. I have been busy with my Alien fic, going to be uploading 2 very long chapters very soon.

In the mean time I have been putting quite a bit of effort into my outlines for this Winx(Trix) fic.

So far, I have looked in the Fan fiction area and this one, and unless I am not looking in the right place, I did not see what the content rules for Fan fiction on this site were. Can someone point me to it?

I plan on posting this, when I start it, on FF.net as well as here. It is going to be a mature story. NOT smut, erotica mature, but mature as in, suitable for adults and mature teenagers. Danger, language, violence and yes even a few spicy scenes as well. Basically It wont be a giggle fest story.

I know that FF.Net has a good, liberal content policy, I just wanted to know what the guidelines here were. If I have to, I can do some creative edits, when I enter the stories here. I would however like to avoid that as much as possible.

Since I have worked up a extensive outline, all the way up to a 4th book.(LOL YEP, Its going to be HUGE ongoing project), this is important, as with the 3rd planned story, and the forth story, will be dark, and emotionally Nerve wracking..
