Emerald appeared beside Ruby and scoffed as she looked over Artemis' clothes. "No wonder it looks like you were born on a railroad, since that's where most accidents happen after all. We are the witches of Cloudtower, grandma." She replied. "I think that's obvious since you are sneaking into an actual school of witches."

Artemis blinked a bit, never having known any railroads on Jule nor having been on a train on Magix yet, a puzzled look on her face "oh about that. Not my idea" she gesured over to Zaflore before cracking her knuckles "but you two really look horrible" she commented "because in the name of the goddesses what are you wearing?" She chuckled even at it.

"They're called clothes, but I guess I shouldn't expect normal bugs like you to grasp the concept of clothing afterall." Ruby scoffed.

Zaf felt a bit conflicted, she wanted to continue her search for the books she needed but at the same time she felt little for leaving Artemis to her own devices. So against better judgement she hoovered next to Artemis still refusing to set a foot on cloud tower's ground and to have a higher vantage point over the witches hoping to counter their intimidation. "One of two things can happen, you leave us in peace and as soon as I have the stuff I need we're gone, or we're going to make a mess," she stated with all the confidence and false confidence she could gather, sincerely hoping her voice didn't waver.

"Sweetie, you're on our turf now. And we have a way of clearing our tracks when things get messy." Ruby snapped her fingers and the flames in the halls instantly burnt out. After a moment in the darkness she lit a flame in her finger which lit up her face. "Go take what you're here for." She said, in a voice that let them know that she has her eye on them. With that she teleported away, leaving them in the darkness.

Emerald heard Miyu yell Bloody Murder when she ran from her dorm to the dining hall from somewhere but then realized she didn't wanna stick around so she just ignored it. "First off, you must be up to something or else you wouldn't have snuck in." Emerald said from the shadows, as she levitated around, so that it would confuse the two fairies up on where she was. "Second, you bugs have some nerve if you think you can get away with stealing at Cloudtower." She said in a creepy tone, with an evil smile on her face.

Artemis seemed most of all confused by thw witches before the seemingly fire controlling one dissapeared into the walls and took all the light with her. Yet as Miyu ran by screaming she jumped up startled and created a pretty fancy electrical show as countless sparks jumped over her hair and arms "whoa!" She looked around quickly to see where the one who was talking to them was at.
Not feeling like doing something too complicated she, still slightly trembling, switched the light function of her chargepack on to illuiminate the library.

Zaflore's hairs stood straight up as soon as the dim source of light went out, leaving her in the pitch black. She panicked and gasped and looked startled in Artemis' eyes once she lit up the place. Zaf was as white as a ghost and has stopped flying in her panic, now for the first time setting foot in Cloud tower. At the same time she looked embarrassed. "Sorry I got you into this," she stated now knowing Artemis' true colors, ready to stand up for her she decided she was treating her ally unfairly in the circumstances. "Now let's find this book and bail out of here," she said as she too now brought a source of light into existence. She was slightly out of breath, the dark environment was getting to her and even sustaining her easily manageable light orb seemed to be taxing her.

Artemis herself was sparking irregularly, she was stressed for sure and it clearly messed with her power controll as the light of her chargepack seemed to dim and grow irregularly "it's fine Zaf" she replied after gulping I just..." She looked around as she felt very unsafe... But not herself. She was afraid she would hurt others right now "just go get the stuff you need okay?" She closed her eyes and tried to calm down, having to leave her guard completely down to do so.
