Spells: Low spells:1. Water Wall - raise up water to form a wall to protect her for 10 seconds 2. Tidal Barrier - raise up a tide to prevent enemies from getting over for 10 seconds
Medium spells: 1. Aqua Dome - manipulate the water into shaping like a dome. Will break after three hits from enemy 2. Bubble Chains - use bubbles to make a chain to chain the enemy for 15 seconds 3. Aqua Spheres - user throws spheres of water towards enemy. Causes pain and weakens enemy for 20%
High spells: 1. Aqua Pura - it is used to purify water, like purifying a river being polluted by oil 2. Ozone Bubbles - create a bubble that forms around her head which will provide oxygen for 15 minutes
Appearance: She has black hair that is a little curly extending down to her waist, big black eyes and fair white skin. Her height is shorter than average, but she doesn't mind. Her favourite combination is a one-shoulder purple top with a black skirt. She has a deep purple one-shoulder gown with lilies on it.
Fairy form: In her Winx form, she wears a royal purple one-shoulder top. For her bottom, she has a sea-blue wavy miniskirt with little water drop shaped gems dangling at the bottom. And she wears a pair of purple boots with water drop patterns. Her wings are sleek and long. The are a blend of purple and blue.
Strengths: -She is good at leading. She is really serious when needed to, and
can make her team mates listen to her. Also, she always plan
ahead of others, so others often look to her to instruct the team
on or off battlefield.
-She is good at solving problems.
-She is good at swimming and dancing.
Weaknesses: -She is weak at most sports.
-Her powers grew weak if she is not near water for a very long
time.
-She is not very good at oral communication. She is great at
planning, but when it comes to explaining or
debating, she will need some time to
prepare.
Personality: She is intelligent, sensible and helpful. She loves reading, dancing and writing. She is quite creative. A bit of know-it-all, she always help her friends on their homework. She can be a bit cold and secretive to people who are not her friends, but the truth is that she is just being careful. When she is with her friends, she is humorous, protective and easygoing. She is very scared of heights. She is very stubborn. Once she has made up her mind, it is very hard to change it. Also, as mentioned above, she is not good at controlling her temper, and her temper carries quite a kick. And she is always very impatient and a little lazy.
History: Lyra was born on May 22nd. Her parents, Katherine Matthews and Mark Marielle were very proud of her. She grew up in Andros. She had a black cat named Dowsy. She had always love the sea and water, and spent most of her childhood playing on the beach. She loves reading and is always in her little world of imagination. She is not much of a social butterfly, but still has her own little circle of close friends. At school, she usually get the top grades. At first, some people bully her for her height, and she became not confident of herself. Until one day, her mother gave her a necklace shaped of a raindrop. On the raindrop, she saw a sentence which became her motto: ‘Difficulties in life are not here to weaken you, but to strengthen you.’ After that, she wore it every day to remind herself to face difficulties with a smile.
She realized her powers of water when one day, she went to the beach and a girl she didn't know came towards her with a bunch of friends. She accidentally bumped into Lyra. Lyra said that it was okay, thinking the girl was about to apologize, but the girl was all snooty, saying that it was Lyra who bumped into her. Lyra pushed down her anger and calmly told her that it was she who bumped into Lyra. And the girl was still demanding Lyra to say sorry. Finally, Lyra couldn't take it any longer. She was very angry, and amazingly, the waves rose with her emotions. They crashed on the girl and her friends who had been bad to Lyra. It was the first time she saw her powers and she became careful with strangers.
Her parents helped her to control her powers. She was a quick learner and didn't take long to master the basics. But they knew that it won't be enough. So they enrolled her into the Alfea school and she was just starting her studies there. She kept in touch with some of her best friends - Kaelyn, Bernice and Ingird.She hopes that she can eventually become a guardian fairy of Andros.
