I have no idea. I'm waiting for Meow Mix and Maternix to come along though.
Winx is just a made up word from Bloom according to the comics and the RAI version. It's also designed so the 'X' looks like wings. The word winx referes to the wings on a fairy. Does that make sense?

Yeah, 4kids did make it out like Winx was the name of a fairies power. Like in the first episode when Stella said "You've got major Winx girl!" to Bloom. | |
