mermaidix is real

no one ever talks about mermaidix.it is such a cool transformation. i mean with a mermaid tail but you still have fairy wings it is so cool just look at it. and tell me what you think is so cool Very Happy

I'm with you, I love Mermaidix. I can't wait until the comics get into that arc. It looks beautiful. I was really hoping Sirenix would look more like that.

My favourite 5th season transformation is definitely Harmonix. It's very elegant and flowy. I do NOT like the Sirenix with the tights. My 7 year old (target audience remember) said that she hates the Sirenix look.

Well my seven year old sister loves Sirenix. I guess the opinions differ.

I guess they do. She likes Harmonix better.

I on the other hand, would've liked if Mermaidix was used. I like Sirenix, but the tights are kind of a drawback for me.

Me too. The whole connecting tights and shoes idea is quite awkward when you look at it. As you said, Siren means mermaid in Italian, I think they were using the idea of water from the book Sirene, but trying to put a spin on it. I on the other hand, would have used those designs. They were already there, they knew people liked them. It would be just a matter of transformations.

As for just Sirenix itself as an outfit, I love the colors of the dress parts and the frills. I love how they each have their own cuts on the dresses and it seems easier to fight in then some stuff like Harmonix.
My adult sister mostly agrees with me; it's not very fashionable but it's fairly unique to each character and would work pretty well in battle, which is why we prefer it over Harmonix.

The term Siren is another word for Mermaid-in mythology Sirens were women who lured sailors to their death with their singing- they had tails like fish. So basically Sirenix is Mermaidix, but we have a different style of transformation and I hope the Winx won't be killing people. However this could be part of the curse that the book mentioned.

Neither do I. Unless everyone just likes it because it's new or in CGI. I don't like most of the Sirenix transformation- especially the tights. My daughter who is almost 8 and in the target audience for the show agrees with me that the tights and the shoes (which connect to the tights) are ugly.

i think people love sirenix because of the outfit but that is not the raeson i like mermaidix
