The Central Courtyard

First topic message reminder :

The Central Courtyard is a large open space at the center of the school where students can sit and spend their free time. A Well through which the tunnels connecting Alfea, Red Fountain and Cloud Tower to each other can be accessed. When the moonlight shines on it, the well opens a portal, which leads to another dimension with lots water, where the map of the Infinite Ocean can be seen. A Public Square where functions such as the beginning of year and graduation ceremonies are done. It also serves as a landing space for flying ships.

Brenda chuckled at what just happened "No problem" she replied as she summoned larges vines out of the ground to carry Carter to her balcony. Once they successfully arrived on the balcony, Brenda used her magic to make the vines disappear.

Carter laughed, "Well that's an easy way to escape a situation. But ugh, my tail isn't disappearing yet...Do you have any spells that can dry it off? I'd do it....but I don't know much spells..."

Brenda arrived at the courtyard, she quickly walked to the gates and left the school.

Artemis left the main building and heades straight for the machine at the side of the courtyard "Flower! Any news?" She called out to her Pixie

Regardless of the pixies presence she'd sit down on the bench in front of the machine "it's... It's really tough to understand" she started. Her voice soft and slightly shaking.

Lena had followed her and sits next to her on the bench. She glances sideways at the silver haired girl with a worried expression, "Why not try to explain it and once you do, I might understand."

Artemis sighed softly and looked down "I.... I don't know" she mumbles "it's just..." She looks sideways at Lena "have you ever lost friends for who you are?"

"No, I haven't." Lena says to her softly, sitting back on the bench. She slowly grips the side of it as well. "When I was a bratty stuck up person and changed, I might have lost a few in transition, but that's not what you mean."

Artemis shakes her head "t-then you don't know.... It just... It's not fair!" She showed off a bit of dispair "I never asked for this!" She stretched her hand out and let a shot of electricity jump out to the ground, leaving her panting "and now... I... You saw how they reacted to me!" She turned to Lena

Lena slowly places her hand on Artemis shoulder, "Sometimes our powers are hard to control and people fear what they never really understand. Just because you have power like that back home, doesn't mean they should shun you."

Artemis panted as Lena could feel her surface excitation rising "then tell that to them!" She snapped at her and looked at Lena "the moment they discovered I was an electromancer I lost ALL my friends!" She shouted, tears in her eyes "do you have any clue how that feels? To be marked as a dangerous thing to be avoided at all costs!?" Her chargepack gave off a soft alert as it detected a too rapid increase in electrical charge.
