The Central Courtyard

First topic message reminder :

The Central Courtyard is a large open space at the center of the school where students can sit and spend their free time. A Well through which the tunnels connecting Alfea, Red Fountain and Cloud Tower to each other can be accessed. When the moonlight shines on it, the well opens a portal, which leads to another dimension with lots water, where the map of the Infinite Ocean can be seen. A Public Square where functions such as the beginning of year and graduation ceremonies are done. It also serves as a landing space for flying ships.

"Don't hurt Daphne, please. There is another way to help her!" Flora shouts from behind the shield, hitting it with her clenched first. Small holes had started to appear since Tecna had fallen and the nature fairy is beside herself, unsure what to do.

Seeing another barrage of spells headed her way Daphne grimly realized it would bee too late to undertake any effort to dodge those spells. Frantically she shot flame spirals into the mass of spells approaching sending some astray, one headed straight for Lexi and some intercepting incoming spells, thought the better part of the spells launched in her direction found they mark. Daphne being overwhelmed with a massive blow of all kinds of spells washing over her she was stunned momentarily from the sheer impact and seemed to start falling.

"Oh...." Roll begins upon seeing the flurry of spells and he tucks and rolls out of the way of the closest one, only to be slammed in the chest by another. The young man gasps as the air is knocked from his lungs and he tumbles backward several meters. "Ow..." He mutters weakly, struggling to breath as he slowly stands.

Zaflore saw the multiple rays emerging from Daphne and one of those seemed to come precariously close to her. She wasn't the best flier, she didn't attempt to dodge the spell since it would most likely do more harm than good. So Zaflore ceased her ascend and upt up a light barrier in front of her that covered Zaflore completely, shielding her from fire, light and darkness.

This shielded her from the incoming blast that indeed would have been a hit if not for Zaflore's calculated reaction. She swore a silent oath realizing how close this was. After the missile struck the wall and Zaflore unscathed she continued her ascend regretfully having to leave the relatively safe area behind the wall. Readying her next spell, which formed a red glowing orb charging up at the end of her extended arms.

Daphne regained herself seeing two fairies rapidly approaching. Before even trying to discern if they pose a threat or not she sent forward a sharp blast of air that would interrupt any spells being channeled at the moment of impact. It would also bind the approaching characters of this conical attack to Daphne to receive recoil damage is any more offensive spells would deal damage to Daphne.

She then launched a downward dive headed for Flora to knock out the final of the Winx standing between her and the Bloomix gems.

Flora gazes up at the woman diving towards her and she freezes. She couldn't hurt Daphne, not even if it was to save herself. She could try to delay her and starts muttering to the plants in hopes of trying to tangle Daphne in a vine, but nothing was happening.

With a grunt Zaflore took the blow But when she tried to release the spell it was gone. With the full extend of the blow now descending into Zaflore, the realization this was no play and there was real danger present here did give her a moment of clarity, the clarity she needed to know that coming any closer might be payed with severe consequences.

She noticed Daphne headed down for Flora and wisely decided to let it be for now, not wanting to end up unconscious as some on the ground. Though where she might be useless against Daphne, she could at least try to give some first aid to those who have fallen victim to a lot of Daphne's punishment. So she dived herself as well, not after Daphne but to those who fell, to see if she could heal and aid some of who were hit.

"Mina!" yelled Genevieve, "Let's do it!" she said, even though it's very late. Her mind was boggled if she should actually do the convergence.

"But I...I don't know what to practically do.." she confessed, hoping this wouldn't cause any disruption to the plan.

"Charmix!" Mina transformed into charmix stage to get more power before joining hands with Genevieve. "Focus your power and what you want to do with it. Then yell out Convergence."

"I've had enough of this! Charmix!" She called out and her charmix appeared. "Diamond Chain!" Amara shot the chain spell, aimed at Daphne to slow her down.

Cadence got shot by a flame spiral and hit one of Alfea's walls, before sliding down to the ground.
