Nimueh knocked softly on the door to the Potions laboratory, knowing it was where she was most liable to find professor Palladium.

"Excuse me-" She called out as she opened the door slightly and stepped inside.

"Hello there!" The man explains, looking up from his pot since he was starting on that potion earlier, "Is there something I can help you with?"

"Yes," Nimueh gave a soft smile as she entered the potions laboratory, happy to hear the voice of Professor Palladium.

"I uh- wanted to come and see you about m- my bird, Silverwing." Nimueh said. "He's umm.. supposed to help me to learn how to fly but I- well, I don't really think I can learn by myself and I was- well, I was wondering if you might be able to help me out?" She asked hesitantly, unsure whether the Professor had the time or the want to help her with him.

The Professor places down a flask on the table and looks to his student, "I'm afraid as an elf I can't teach you much about flying. I can however, give you a few tools to aid you when it comes to help you learn with Silverwing. It might help to ask an animal fairy to place a spell on him as well so he can speak with you."

"Thank you kindly," Nimueh said in response to the professor. "Tell me, is there um- anything I need to remember when looking after a bird? I've not had an animal to look after before and it well it's a little nerve wracking to try and care for something let alone myself." She asked in addition.

"Aside from feeding and giving him water, the only other thing you have to do is make sure to clean up after him." The Professor speaks "And make sure to give him attention when ever you can."

"I think I can manage that, thank you Professor." Nimueh said as she turned aroud and began heading towards the door, before something sprung to mind and she looked back at where the Professor was.

"Can I ask you one last thing?" She said, "If I don't have an animal fairy around to make my bird talk, how can I know what he wants?"

"Normally there are indicators like the different sounds of his calls that will tell you what he wants. You'll have to learn those on your own, but I don't think they will be to hard for you to understand." The elf says, trying to give her confidence with her pet.
