Spoilers of the episode 23 of season 6 are found here, so if you don't want to be spoiled, get outta this thread son.

It's not confirmed (YET) if Musa and Riven broke up for good, as they might return to each other in rest of season 6. But as of episode 23 of season 6, they're officially no more.

So if you watched episode 23, you will know Musa and Riven broke up! I don't know if they'll be back together in the season but Musa and Riven had a talk and they faced they just we'rent meant to be but they said they like each other. They decided to be friends at this point! It only took them 6 years to break up, too early don't you think? LOL. Riven said he fails every time to be with her when she needs him as a specialist and a boyfriend. Basically they faced the facts in few words. They just weren't meant to be!

So what do you think of this sudden surprise? Are you happy or sad about this? I personally don't care and I find it good they finally hella broke up.

I never could honestly hate Riven, he just seems insecure, kinda like Sam from iCarly ~~I'm so sorry I keep relating everything to Jennette but it seemed appropriate~~ like, he must have had a rough past like we speculated years ago (his mother abandoning him thus having trouble with women, I have no idea if in season 6 that was proved wrong or not because I left the fandom in February) which causes him to be like that, but in all honestly, we'd be lying if we said he hasn't softened.

Guys, what if this is Nabu all over again? What if we THINK he'll come back BUT HE NEVER DOES?!

Well, a lot of people were upset that all the Winx had boyfriends. Guess now it's 4/6.

guys in the comic there's a really sweet guy that Musa is together with. I think she might maybe end up with him instead of Riven.

Also to be exact what I got from the episode was that he was the one who decided to break up with musa, musa just agreed because she didn't see him changing mind soon... Deep down musa didn't want this break but she couldn't form the words to tell him how she feels about it. Also I believe Riven will be back next season ~~I've seen the ending of this season allready, and for this season it's a NONO~~ but stronger, and more confident in himself. I think he noticed the changes he needs to make in order to fit in with the team/Musa. So he just want to have some solo training time to buff up and not feel so useless anymore. Hey, Bloom has done this so many times before: solitude for training or thinking things over. Why can't Riven have a deep side on him too? He has been always on the losing end you know (being brainwashed like 5 times, being beaten alot by the other guys) I think his self esteem is the size of a selkie by now. (compared to his self esteem in the first seasons)

TL,TR: Riven broke up because solo training time to raise his self esteem and be more worthy of being a specialist and musa's bf.

Riven and Musa breaking up was sudden, but it was't surprising. As you may have seen how he was acting in season 6, he was apathetic throughout all of his conversations with the guys or Musa. All he thought about was himself, and it explains why he feels like half of a man.

Riven leaving the Specialists though is pretty bold, and I can't tell if this is real end for him. Perhaps it is. If so, then it was nice knowing him. Its a shame though, because two great guys got excellent character development: Riven and Nabu. Now they're gone. At least they can't be tarnished with regression through their appearances. That was too late for Riven in the end, though.

If this marks the end for Musa's relationship drama, then I'm okay with it.

They can't just end him off like that. Personally, I believe he'll come back in the very end of the series (he might not even leave, if the specialists and Winx work together to make him stay,) and continue as her love interest, because for 6 years, they've been together and for 6 years you don't just date for the fun of it. That's not how it works.

If it's the last of him I will never watch this show again, no matter what happens. (Unless they bring Riven back.)

I really like how they handled the break up , good job rainbow you made it mature and believable unlike other breakups I've seen. I really do hope riven comes back as he was one of the few specialists that got charecter development and it'll be really annoying if he leaves, it'll be the seconds time a great charecter also got development left cough nabu cough. Now that Musa is single i hope they don't do a repeat of what they have been doing with Aisha recently by having her sort of date one guy but then in the next season another guys comes along and the two guys are fighting over her likes shes some sort of toy. Its annoys me to no end. I honestly hate love triangles so much since most causes the couple i want to be together does not happen ~~cough eponine and marrius from les mis, i don't like cossette xD why did she have to be there cough~~ so however this effects the next season i hope it wont lead to a rehash of the Aisha love plot from season 5 and 6 but with musa instead

I'm honestly wondering where Rainbow wants to go with this. Are they going to bring Riven back again or as he like OUT NEVER EVER EVER WILL BE MENTIONED IN WINX CLUB EVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRR AGAIN!

I kind of want Musa to stay single if she is not going to get back together with Riven. I can't remember how they broke up in the comics or when but the sweet guy that Musa is with for a few comics than moves away and even while she was dating that random guy she still thought of Riven sometimes.
