Musa and Riven's issues in season 3

I loved these two in season two, they seemed to finally be connecting to each other. Then Musa had to go and ruin it by expecting Riven to read her mind and automatically be perfect. Then she gave him attitude after he complimented her. Yikes!

Thankfully I think they fixed a few things in that season just to bring it up again in season 4 (I'll talk about that in season 4) But what is it about them that makes the writers just want to create more drama? Can't the writers just let them finish moving along like they seemed to have done in season 2?

I see it as a steady move forward - not that the writers meant for it to be seen like that, I just choose to interpret it that way. Musa crushed on Riven in season one but was pretty much ignored because Darcy was older, more experienced, the usual stuff. Then in season two, he's looking for redemption and not really sure what to make of Musa turning to him and still being there for him but it's nice and she becomes important to him but it's not until the third season that he realises how important she is to him, that his actions could end up pushing her away. . In season four it's a case of him chasing her, trying to prove that he's supporting her but she's concerned that he's going the same way as her father and trying to stop her achieving her dreams. Naturally this is just me reading between the lines because the show doesn't really give much depth to their characters but I tend to think that there's probably more happening behind the scenes, which is why they're fun to write.

I just get more upset with Musa when she has to give Riven such attitude.

Return to Solaria was on Friday and that's really what brought this up. Riven tried to compliment her and all she did was yell at her and shove a bike part into his stomach.

Didn't he refuse to listen to her concern that the bike wasn't behaving right? I'm not excusing them but I do blame the writers for just shoving drama at us that seems to come out of nowhere. They do this do much for Riven and Musa that all people know them as is the couple that fights the most when realistically there are twenty episodes they're not fighting and those same twenty involve Bloom and Sky drama.

He blamed her bad driving. However Riven did try to compliment her and instead she just got an attitude and shoved a bike part at him. Admitedly later on they get along after the whole Nabu thing in the Red Tower, but there was a lot between that.

I really wish the writers had focused more on what happened in Season 2.
