Season 4 debuting on Ytv this Sunday in Canada

First topic message reminder :

I don't know how many Canadians are on this board, but I found out from a few people that Ytv will start airing season 4 starting this Sunday. 11am EST/MST and 10am PST and I don't know about the rest of the country. We're only getting one episode a week and we won't get one on the 5th, but this is good news because season 5 will also be airing on Ytv.

For those who don't know or maybe don't understand why this is a big deal I'll explain. Until this Sunday Winx Club has only been shown on Nick Canada which is a special channel only available on digital cable or satellite packages here in Canada and you have to order the family entertainment package (at least from my cable provider). Nick Canada also only has an east coast channel (like Nick 2 is back in the US) so if you live out west like me you don't always see the episodes and my 7 year old hasn't seen any of season 4 because it airs at noon here in BC.

Ytv however is available as a basic cable station in most cities and provinces (my MIL didn't have it until Shaw bought out Sunwave back in December) and they are a Canadian affiliate of Nick. Ytv also has a west coast station. During Christmas break Ytv aired the 4 specials and back in June I received an exclusive DVD from Toys R Us Canada that showed that season 5 will come to Ytv this fall.

I'm also speculating that the 2 movies may air on Ytv instead of Nick Canada, but I don't have any proof to back up my speculation, so don't quote me on that.

Well they've been airing season 4 here in Canada since June 14th and we're on our 2nd airing of it on Nick Canada. I'm just happy it's on Ytv now because it's more accessable. I hope everyone isn't thinking that we didn't have the 4th season until this weekend.

We finished the 4th season on the 16th (two weeks ago) and tomorrow on Nick Canada we'll have The Audition.

Ytv will be airing The Wizards of the Black Circle today at 10am here in BC

Okay I keep getting people posting on here that aren't reading my opening post where I state that season 4 has been airing on Nick Canada Monday through Friday. Please read my post this time.

We didn't just get season 4 today. We FINISHED season 4 on the 16th of July while the Americans were midway through. Nick Canada has been airing season 4 since the 14th of June but we got the show Monday through Friday at 3pm EST (noon PST) We're on our second run of season 4 as of the 17th of July

What's great about season 4 DEBUTING on Ytv is that Ytv is a more accessable channel than Nick Canada because Ytv has both East and West Coast stations. In Canada unlike in the US Nick Canada is a special channel that requires a digital cable or satellite subscription. Ytv is a basic cable station in most Canadian cities including mine.

Again, season 4 is in reruns on NICK CANADA (see link: http://nickcanada.com/schedule) Ytv just started airing season 4 today. They also had the 4 specials back in December. Thank you for reading.

LOl Well we did get Monday through Friday. I don't know why they didn't air it on Saturdays or Sundays like they did in the US. It would have reached more veiwers. Aw well at least we have Ytv to help.

I'll have to watch Pets Persuit on here though because it airs Wednesday on Nick Canada and I'll be up at my MIL's that day.

Hmm now I'm wondering if both Ytv and Nick Canada will air season 5. That will be something else

Well according to the DVD cover (see opening post) Ytv will air Winx Club this fall so maybe season 5. They seem to get the newer shows. Nick Canada airs older ones aside from Winx Club.

Ohh, sorry.. I thought it just aired on Ytv and not on Nick Canada too, sorry.
