Creating a role play is like writing a story, but allowing others to help write that story as well.
First you must plan your RP using the five Ws and one H.
- Who: Who is the main character? (The OC this role play is about)
- What: What is the RP about? (A quest, a party? etc.)
- When: When does the RP take place? (School year? Season? Break?)
- Where: Where is the location of the role (Planet? Place?)
- Why: Why are you making this RP? ( Character development? Earning transformations? etc.)
- How: How is this RP set up? (The main events of the RP)
Then you must figure out how you want it to go.
Exposition: The characters. (The OCs that are role playing with you, possible RPCs to be used?)
Rising action: Introduction (The beginning of the RP till the first main event)
Climax: The main event (The start of the main event and the most important one)
Falling action: The follow-up (The other main events and sub-plots)
Resolution: The ending (End of main events till end of RP)
And that is how you plan and create an RP, all that is left to do is start the RP and see how it works out, because it may not go the exact same way you want it to go.
Not unless you control everything which is not allowed. I hope this guide helps you.
