Chatango vs Chat Wing

Not to bash the new chat box, but I'm gonna bash the new chat box. I tried to give it a chance, I did, I really did. I just find it annoying that no one is even in the chat box anymore, and the chat box was one of the main things that kept me coming to BiW. I miss Chatango and I know I cant be the only one. I think that they should bring back Chatango and also keep Chat Wing for the people that like that one better.

I have lost contact with so many people. and I miss talking to them on lazy summer days.

I think Chatango was a lot more easier to use and everyone used it.

But I see the admins/mods point of view though too. Chatango was fun and all but it was full of creeps. Creeps who trolled and creeps who were just sick. Also with chatango is that you had your own profile that anyone could message to, and as soon as you went online someone would message you.

I'm kinda in the middle, but still leaning towards Chatango in some ways.

I would say neither one of them, cause on Chatango it locked me out and when we had Chatango some people were complaining.

Okay so let me tell you guys why i prefer chatango than Chatwing. When we had Chatango it was very easy to talk to people, Yes there was this problem that a lot of strangers message you in pm which was very scary but i've always blocked them and continue with my life so it wasn't no biggy. Now with chatwing. I was the first one to see it and i loved it at first! I was excited for the members to try it out too. So the minute i saw chatwing we became besties with it. It started really good but then i had the problem that i couldn't see the person's message. So it always happen that i'm talking to someone, and then someone comes and joins the conversation but i had to refresh the page to see the person's message which is annoying. i notice that to people it happened and had problems with chatwing. Ik that mods and admins are happy with the new chatbox but nobody is there anymore. The forum is a little dead. So i had to go with the people that want chatango back because it was easier and most of the people had no problem. I also notice you can change your name of user in Chatwing which will cause a lot of trouble. If you couldn't post in the chatbox with had a log time ago, maybe you were banned. I'm not sure but that's how it works.

The problem isn't in the chat box actually. Nobody comes on any more, you just don't notice that because you're too busy judging a chat box that is meant for you guys to chat on. Chatwing gives us even more options to control what goes on in the chat, unlike chatango.

Yes chatango was really useful and easy like omg and we had so memories back then but we had a lot of troubles on that chat box and that's what lead to the forum being inactive. Then it started having a lot of technical issues which led us to look for a new one.

If you haven't noticed not a lot of people come on here and even though it may seem active to you, it's because the people who are here keep creating discussions and chat a lot, but it's always the same people.

Lately we're getting lucky as new people are finally coming but it's not enough. Nobody barely uses the chat any more because everyone is busy with going on the forum and checking the many topics we all create and post in.

You should know that it's not easy to switch between chats because it gives those who we have restricted from going on in the current chat an opportunity to return again and cause chaos. Just please give us some time to figure things out and I promise you that we will do everything to please you. Smile

Let it be known that this will be my last post regarding Chatango/Chatwing. I've said this about 10 times already.

1. Creeps. Chatango is flooded with perverts, and the fact that it allows people to have private chats doesn't help either. I'm sure the parents of many of you wouldn't like to know you have been messaged by random strangers on the internet.

2. The main reason why we had to change hosts was because many of you were having trouble. Messages weren't showing up, people kept being unable to chat at all, etc. And this is the thing you're all having a hard time to understand. We changed chats because you guys were complaining. Now that the old chat is gone, you want it back.

What about the people whose messages weren't showing up? What about the people who couldn't chat for some unknown reason? Should they be put aside because 5 of you don't like the new chat? Try to see things from our side for a little while.

Just start getting used to the chat rather than complaining about it. I'm sure that would improve everyone's experience.

Also we have the Skype chat, and that one is very active actually and we have a lot of members on there. I've already made a topic about that and asked you guys, those who'd like to join, to PM me your Skype username so I could add you to it.

Please next time you want to complain about something, please just pm us and we'll reply right away, there's no need to create topics like these, even if most of you share the same opinion just feel free to pm me the same message/complain because I'm definitely okay with that and will always be glad to help you with the problems you're facing.

Take in mind that most of the staff team are busy or away for the time being and a few of us are on. That shouldn't be much of a problem but try to be considerate next time because we receive a ton of pressure to insure you guys are having the best experience on the forum.

I would like to make it clear that complaining, if it came off that way I want to apologize. I was not even aware that Chatango was a problem for people. I was just making the suggestion that you have to chatboxes, that was all.

I don't know!I loved Chatango,sure it had problems,yeah it was inactive,but was it even as inactive as this one?No one comes on anymore for protest!The only thing which is useful in this one is that no creeps can message you,but block them and get rid of them!But I guess Chatwing is better.In the sense it looks more neat and no perverts.
