Today, Romi Dames confirmed that Nickelodeon didn't pick up Winx Club for it's seventh season. The series will be over for Nickelodeon viewers in the US.

But to be on the bright side, the seventh season will still be produced nevertheless. Unfortunately, it will not air in the US (and back to the negative side lol). Hopefully some other network will pick it up. It is a possibility that they will produce the new season with Rai English, but that information has yet to be revealed.

What do you all think about this? I wish Nickelodeon would realize how many fans still love this show.

...so, where's a good place to learn Italian? If this is true I'm just going to assume it's not being produced in English at all unless Rai English decides to again. Seems unlikely but plausible given that the series isn't that unpopular. Nick is the worst, though.

That's such an overly dramatic title, lol. Winx Club didn't get cancelled, it just... Went back to its country? I'm pretty sure it will still be dubbed in all the usual languages. I'm glad Nick didn't renew the contract, though. The story kept getting worse, and I'm afraid it was because of the US television and how "strict" it is.

I hope this is a new start for Winx. A chance to pick up the pieces and return with a solid plot, good transformations and less drama.

I really don't think the story getting worse has anything to do with Nick. Rainbow still had most of the power, so the story making was mostly done by them. US television is strict with kid's shows, but I doubt that was the problem. The story probably still has issues in the Italian version (take the entirety of season 5 for example).
I'd like Winx to improve, but taking Nick off only means we get a chance at a decent timeslot. It does nothing to help nor hurt the story.

EDIT: Also, pretty sure 4Kids changed way more from the original than Nick did.

I'm devastated, but I am not surprised at all.
The cartoon is doing extremely poor and the merchandise and toys do not sell. Hiatus after hiatus, break after break. No promotions, no reruns, no nothing.

I hope we can get subtitles of future episodes or maybe Rai English as someone else mentioned...

I completely agree with you. I actually can say that I could see this coming with all of the hiatus as of late. But really why build up the show if you are just going to take it off the block? Now nick is officially terrible with winx club off the air. And I do agree that nick isn't responsible for the storyline at all that's Rainbow's doing. Also it was Rainbow's idea to change the age for the show in the first place. Maybe winx club was never made for the USA. They should continue where the RAI version left off BRING BACK THE RAI.

OMG!!! If anyone knows anyone that has a youtube channel and speaks italian please beg them to upload the episode with english subtitles underneath. This is sad but maybe winx will be different since Nick had like owned 30 percent of winx.

Well, if this is all true though, then here's hope for RAI English then. Nick was pretty bad with the show anyways, but I'm pretty disappointed that it's getting cancelled in the United States... actually, we might get RAI dub over here, but it will be a while; depending if Nick airs the RAI Dub or not.
