| I'm technically finished shopping, but I'm just buying small things for my daughters and my niece. I can get the concert minis in American packaging for 4$ each and I found some Bloom Harmonix minis for 5$ so I've bought some of them as stocking stuffers. I also have to buy 20$ worth of lotto tickets on my way up to my MILs on Christmas Eve day.
I'm just glad that the snow will come the day before my husband and I drive up to his mom's and I hope my back feels better so I can go sledding with them.
Last year my husband had pneumonia so he couldn't go sledding and I would hate that I can't go this year. | |

| I don't think my family's putting up the tree this year (no one feels like celebrating this year). I currently got all but one of my presents early and I know what they are anyway because I seriously cannot trust my family to not get me something bad or something I already have unless I specifically tell them what I want. Everything I got were video games.
Snow doesn't come where I live, so that doesn't concern me. To be honest, I just like getting presents. My family's work schedule and situation doesn't allow for us to all spend time together anyway (and I'm only comfortable with 2 of the other 4 family members in my house, and one of those two is my cat), and I'm not religious so I wouldn't celebrate for the religious aspect. | |

| ^ My husband is Atheist and I was raised Catholic so we're an interesting pair. My husband only celebrates the family part because I moved here with my older daughter and we have another daughter together. The year before I moved here he stayed at his apartment instead of driving up to be with his family at Christmas so he could get more work done. | |

| It seems like this year nobody is in the Holiday spirit. At least my family really isn't. I literally bought nearly all of my presents my self (go figure) and a couple of my friends bought me a few things and vice versa. Maybe it's because I'm a 12th grader this year and the magic of Christmas died last year. I bought myself at least 8 copies of manga and a Musa sirenix doll. I'm hoping I get a new laptop too but who knows...we've barley even put up the tree. My mom's verdict: the house isn't even clean yet. I mean the only reason we are putting up the tree is because my niece is over and it's her first Christmas. (she's 1 1/2). I haven't even watched The Polar Express. I'm the only one in the family who has any Christmas spirit what so ever. And my brother is giving me the whole Christmas and Capatalism speech every single time I bring something Christmas related. |

My family always stays up on Christmas Eve till 12:00AM to open our presents and on Christmas morning, we get up to watch the Disney parks' Christmas Day Parade on ABC. | I am excited, but not as before. I have no idea why, but I don't have a Christmas spirit. It's like, it was just all gone. But I am still doing all of the Christmas things I can do, to have a Christmas spirit, but I still don't feel it, sadly.  But I love Christmas, and I will live it up this year!  | |

| I'm getting more anxious. I have to go shower and pack up the car then stop at a gas station and get gas and lotto tickets before heading out of town.
