For example, when people cheat in an exam. 5 people cheated, 60 people have to deal with their consequences. At least we get given a second chance to try again, but those cheaters also get a second chance when they shouldn't be given it. Why shouldn't they be given a second chance?? Well, they tried to cheat again in their second chance apparently.

I've got a similar story.

In computer class last year, we had to start learning JavaScript. I was genuinely interested in learning it. The gimmick with the website was that if you really couldn't do it, then you could choose to get more hints until it just tells you exactly what to put in. I didn't do that unless I had already tried a few times and seriously couldn't get it. Wanna know what my classmates did? Probably more than 60% of them just went ahead and cheated. They just copied the hints every single time! The teacher never said it was against the rules, but it's pretty bogus, am I right? The class wall was flooded with "Yay, I finished the JavaScript course" posts very early on, while I was still figuring out how to actually learn to code.
