So.... There isn't a topic like this yet...

I mean.. there is, but this topic is talking about the overall season...

You can discuss just about anything here, as long as they're season 6 related Smile

So... Start!

The theme song is a bit Kiddish..... Sounds too pleasant... I'd rather keep the Season 5 theme song. Also, the ending song.... is kind of ^^^(pretty much what I said here) Way of Sirenix is a bit... ok ish. Hopefully they make better songs after this...

Bloomix.... WHY BLOOMIX. that's like naming yourself Bloom Bloom instead Bloom of Domino. " NOW, ANNOUNCING THE ARRIVAL OF PRINCESS BLOOM BLOOM" It's like.. Why? THey could name it something else that BLOOMix. Ancientix or Legendix sonds nice, ( these are names me and Nessa came up with xd)

First off, I would appreciate it if you would PM me if I made a mistake instead of calling it out in the thread. That's how most mods in the other forums I'm in do things instead of calling undue attention to another member's mistake. There wasn't anything up and this one hadn't had a new post since the beginning of November. I've asked John and Jad why not just lock inactive threads instead of forcing members to waste time wading through pages of dead threads. But no one has tried to fix that problem.

Second, it's been a theory that there may be three transformations, jae posted it on his Facebook and youtube accounts. However even the current two are too much and the first few episodes prove that there is no thought behind this.

This season is just showing that Nickbow is more concerned with making money than with the quality of their product. Nothing has changed in management.

But we didn't know that weeks ago - people saw the 'wings' like things on the back of her dress and jumped to that conclusion. Which is how these things work in this particular fandom. I saw it on the facebook post as well.

I could already smell the theories coming the minute after we got to see the clip. I figured having 3 transformations was too bad, even for Nick. To me, those are clearly not wings, they're too small to support anyone. A Pixie, maybe, but not a person. Even the Charmix wings were bigger than that.

Well, people theorise about the show. It's what they do. And with Winx Club, at this point, it wouldn't even shock me if they flew without wings. Heck, they did one transformation in two episodes, I wouldn't blink an eye if they threw in a few more. It stops them having to think up a plotline.

If there's anything I've learned from this show, is that there is no point in theorizing. The writers will always find a way to disappoint the older fans. That's why I always avoid reading metas. Sure, most of them are truly interesting and well written, but most of the time they keep our hopes up, and that's really not what we should do with Winx Club.
About the wings, well, Bloom did fly without wings once. Episode 3 of season 5, during the concert. But since she's some sort of a Fairy Jesus in the Nick version, I guess that's one of her extras.

But I just noticed something else in the preview.

There would be no need for Bloom to be transformed while talking to Daphne, and also, she seems to have removed the wings. So yeah.

Ah but that scene wasn't in the preview that people initially saw. It definitely doesn't seem to be a transformation now, but before, I could understand why people jumped to that conclusion. As it is, the show has just reached a new low for me with this season. It started off promising but then I realised that they weren't just going by Nostalgia, they were actually rehashing plots and treating their fans as if they're idiots who won't notice the big issues in the show. The more colourful and polished it's become in looks, the less depth it has. It's really a shame because I truly adored it and defended it so much during the first three seasons and the film.

When I saw three, I figured it included Sirenix for what it was worth.

Come on. Three transformations is just far fetched.

I think it's fairy dust. remember they sprinkled it on the kids in season five for the Christmas special? And then the kids flew

Oh right, the fairy dust. Pretty Peter Pan-ish of them, but okay.
And yeah, Fairy Jesus. I figured that's how Nickbow sees her in the last 2 seasons.
