The City of Flowers

First topic message reminder :

This is a city on Linphea, full of big, enormous flowers.

Every day fairies are born from these flowers. The fairies get everything they need and have to learn from the flower they are born from. Until they are 18. Then their flower will wilt, and they are on their own.

Amelia Alstroemeria sat down, pulled her knees up to her chest and softly cried.
Everything she ever knew, was laying here in front of her. The beauty, softness, sweet fragrance,...all reduced to a wilted 'thing' on the ground.

What is she to do now? Who is she? Why does nobody in this city knows? she tried asking for so many times now, but they all didn't know.
Parents. In a book she read about them. She must have had them once. Why do they leave their children? Is she not wanted?

A tear leaves her eye. No! this is not what I want to do! She stood up, wiped the tears away and started walking.
"I must go and travel, get to know who I am, where I come from, where and who my parents are and why they left me?"

It was decided, she was going. on her own...all alone. But oh boy, what was she wrong, cause from the edge of the flower city she stumbled upon:

okay guys, now I need some travelcompagnons here. Do you like my setting. There can be bad guys, but they don't necessarily need to be in here. We can just go on adventures. So, who will join in our journey to our origin and look for answers.

preferably also flowercity citizens (but then you should also be kinda the same, and use nature magic and such, oh and a good knowledge of plants is also a kinda must if you are up to the challenge Smile

), but on the way we can 'bump' into regular fairies too. or other magic users. or bad guys.... It is an open setting.

Maybe to start off, 3 or 4 people?

Carter continued to weep as Amelia tried to comfort her. The flower that she has considered as the only one being part of her family was now gone, however, before she met the girls, the flower mentioned to her "Carter, you will meet special friends who will guide you to the truth of your being. Once I'm gone, they will be the ones to guide you. I love you ever so much my sweet Carter."

After finally stopping from weeping, Carter said "Girls, we need to know the truth about ourselves, not just for us, but also for the flowers that had been there for us. I'll never forgive myself if we just easily give up. Let's go to the Capital."

Amelia: dear fran, nobody knows for sure who our parent are. It could be flora and Helia, but it could also be Crystal with Rayeesh, or ... It is nice that you have a hope for it but it is also possible it is someone else.

please kinda go with the story, if you allready know your parents there isn't much for you to discover I think. Just be like Abeash, and change a bit of your OC background to fit in...

Carter looked at Rose, thought for a moment, then said "I guess we have to sneak into the Capital. May I ask you girls, are you all fairies? I myself know I'm a fairy, my flower told me so. Maybe if we have our magic, we can enter the Capital? And Fran, we don't know who our parents are, hoping is fine, but whoever Flora is, she might or might not even be your parent."

(Firebid, stick with the story. Remember? It said we know nothing much about our background, just that our flowers are dead, and we have magic. There's not much point of Fran staying if she knows who she is. Oh and Maya, make if Linphea related. My powers are actually Infinite Flame, but now I'm changing it to Nature's Flame, something like that.)

Rose thought for a moment about telling the stranger, and decided to tell her,"Yeah,I'm a fairy.My powers are that I can make flowers grow really fast.For example,it takes you 6 weeks to grow one,I can grow it in 6 SECONDS using my magic."

"Cool!" said Carter as she watches Rose throw seeds on the ground and grow them immediately.

"Well, my powers are of based on the legendary creature, the Dragon Flame. It's called the Nature's Flame. My powers are able to revive what ever Nature has lost, whether it's life or what not." she explained.

Wow Carter! your powers are awesome!!!! and Rose, that is so cool! I just know how to heal flowers, and also transferring energy. I do know a few protective spells and attack but my flower was a flower that you could use to heal alot of things. She taught me how I could use her plantjuice. I'm a fairy too.

Fran, that's okay, we all have great expectations about our parents. Smile

But I am for now more curious as to WHY they let us be on our own... Very Happy

thank you abeash for your input I hope everybody is as smart as you. so I don't desire you to change your OC, but maybe conform it to fit in. But like I said, you can also be an other fairy, your own OC later in the story, if you really want to keep exactly your powers. I mean we can always meet other fairykinds on our journey ;)We can go all kind of directions with my setting
