The City of Flowers

First topic message reminder :

This is a city on Linphea, full of big, enormous flowers.

Every day fairies are born from these flowers. The fairies get everything they need and have to learn from the flower they are born from. Until they are 18. Then their flower will wilt, and they are on their own.

Amelia Alstroemeria sat down, pulled her knees up to her chest and softly cried.
Everything she ever knew, was laying here in front of her. The beauty, softness, sweet fragrance,...all reduced to a wilted 'thing' on the ground.

What is she to do now? Who is she? Why does nobody in this city knows? she tried asking for so many times now, but they all didn't know.
Parents. In a book she read about them. She must have had them once. Why do they leave their children? Is she not wanted?

A tear leaves her eye. No! this is not what I want to do! She stood up, wiped the tears away and started walking.
"I must go and travel, get to know who I am, where I come from, where and who my parents are and why they left me?"

It was decided, she was going. on her own...all alone. But oh boy, what was she wrong, cause from the edge of the flower city she stumbled upon:

okay guys, now I need some travelcompagnons here. Do you like my setting. There can be bad guys, but they don't necessarily need to be in here. We can just go on adventures. So, who will join in our journey to our origin and look for answers.

preferably also flowercity citizens (but then you should also be kinda the same, and use nature magic and such, oh and a good knowledge of plants is also a kinda must if you are up to the challenge Smile

), but on the way we can 'bump' into regular fairies too. or other magic users. or bad guys.... It is an open setting.

Maybe to start off, 3 or 4 people?

Rose grinned and extended an hand,"Names Rose.My flower just wilt,too.I'm not a big fan of libraries,but I've heard of some people called parents."

Ornella watched the introduction from a distance, hidden by flowers and trees. Her flower too had recently wilted. She had spent the days since then wandering aimlessly around the city. She felt a sense of relief flood her. Ornella had never felt more alone than when her flower had wilted. Perhaps she didn't have to leave the city? Perhaps her flower could be revived? Ornella did not want to get her hopes up; these others were most likely feeling sad, lost, and confused.

Cautiously, Ornella put one foot forward and began to walk over as quietly as possible to the others. She stopped, leaving a good five feet between her and the group.

"I'd like to join you. My flower died a few days ago," Ornella said.

We are just on our way to undertake a journey. I'm Amelia Alstroemeria, but if it is easier for you, you can call me Amy. Wow, also a Rose ^^, but to avoid confusion, can we call you Carter or CaRose? Where are you from and where are you going? *she smiles very warm and gentle*

Amelia: Fran, don't you think it is weird that nobody told us why we were born and who our real parents are? I mean, why would they hide things from us? Or maybe they don't know either. I tried asking my flower but she didn't answer me that much...

They all kept asking themselves these questions. "Erm, my flower is on the verge of death, however I believe it can answer one more question. Flower, how do we find the truth?" asked Carter.

(Amelia has to be the one to answer this for the plot XD )

Sweet Carter, I raised you as a baby, And loved you for so long. You came to me in a seed, planted at my roots. the flower that came out, opened up and you were in it. the moment the seed was planted at my roots, I became consious. I didn't see how you got planted, I just woke up from a big slumber when I saw earth being rubbled up at my roots....And then you popped out. I took care of you, learned you all the things you need to know. But as the rest of the city of flowers, I do not know anything more. But I'm sure that if you travel to the capital of Linphea, you might find answers or new clues. They might know about your origin. Or about ours. I must go now, sweet Carter, The cycle of life must continue. Out of my dead body new plants will originate.

*Amelia starts crying softly* *the memory of her flower dying is still so fresh*
Amelia: Okay, you heard her, we should go to the capital. Let's ask directions once we are going through the forest! Time to leave this behind and start searching for answers!

The whole group started to move out, to the forestedge. Amelia hugs Carter
Amelia: there there, don't cry, We all lost our flower. It is part of life, we will die once too! We can only move on and keep their legacy. As long as we remember them in our hearts, they'll live on!

Rose couldn't help but roll her eyes at the amount of cheesiness,but silently cried herself.She remembered what her flower told her before it wilt:

Dear Rose,I may have been your guardian for a long time,but both of us know it's time for me to leave.I came to being when you did,ready to claim my responsibility to you and dedicate my life to taking care of you.I wish you could always stay 17,that way you would never have to leave me.But,I think you have grown enough to take care of yourself.

And with that,the flower wilt.And afterwards Rose didn't know what to do.But know there she was,with 3 strangers,trying to find her future.

oh I remember my flower said that I need to control my powers and stuff oh btw Amelia I know who my parents are flora and helia of course says fran
