The Wizards Return: Alex vs. Alex

I thought this special was absolutely amazing. It's not everyday that you see your favorite show return. It was really funny plus there was a lot of action. I was kind mad that Justin wasn't in it, but I forgot that he is the new Wiz-Tech professor.

The special brought back so many memories, especially the scene where Alex tried to call Justin through her wand.

I want them to make more though; a fifth season sounds like a great idea. But you know, they gotta move on to bigger and better things in their career.

But other than that, the special was epic. I miss Wizards so much.

What did you guys think of the new Wizards special?

I'm gonna post what I said at TWOP:

Alex VS Alex. I remember hearing about this in November, but it wasn't until LAST NIGHT (before the premiere night; March 14) when I was watching Disney Channel to remember about this special. Wow, really lucky break.

This special focused 90-95% on Alex. There's a foretelling at the beginning, where Alex explains what's happened, when talking to the crystal council.

It was kind of a bum to have EVERYONE bash on Alex being immature and irresponsible. It's all about Alex now that she's the family wizard. And now that they want her to grow up by living up to that title. Props though, for having you accept yourself as who you are. Even though that moral has been done over and over.

There's some minor focus on Max, but in an incredibly small sub plot. Aaaaand, they made Max more dumb. He thought Italy was Japan, and fell for his foreign cousin. Who he had no idea at all was related to him. Which, stunned me, because Disney actually passed an incest joke.

No Justin. Kind of a shame, and they use the excuse that he's the new Wiz Tech Professor, and have him unseen but mentioned. Did he not check his messenger's record (Dominick; the main antagonist in this special)? I was shocked to find out that he was the nephew of Gorog from the 4 part arc, Wizards vs Everything.

And I'll admit; the charm bracelet plot device was clever. The relationship drama was cliche as possible, but that bracelet really did take me by surprise.

Glad Mason and Harper got some focus as well; just revolving around Alex's issues. The clash between Good Alex and Bad Alex was wicked though; it had some good/funny moments.

Of course; Alex looses her powers at the end and get it's back by the Crystal council. All she had to do was show consideration for her best friend (Harper). Thing is though; this was all about Alex. No surprise though, and I'll live with this. Since we just got continuity from Post Wizard Competition (which kind of was underwhelming itself).

Sad, still no Justin but only mentioned.

Also, I'm shocked that NOBODY made a huge fuss that Mason had commited murder, to Dominic/k. Unless he survived.

I'll give this Special a 8/10.

Oh yeah, and at the KCAs last night, Selena Gomez won favorite TV actress. I bet this Special had helped increased her votes. Plus, she won last year after her show had just ended.

i loved this special and glad selena gomez won the kca award but i think Justin was busy with being the headmaster i bet

This special is actually a VERY special Special to every Wizards fan out there! I am not sure if they are going to make a fifth season, since knowing that Disney limits themselves to only four season......But I wish and hope a new season is soon to come!!!

Oh Alex vs Alex was awesome. Like yeah! The incest joke was kinda gross as Choc said. How can you be in love with your cousin. And I knew he was related to some important villian. I just forgot about it was Gorog. But whatever point is I loved it, and it was the best show on Disney beforre and when it ended. Too bad they didnt have a fifth season but the cast wanted to move on I guess. Congrats to Sel! And too bad Justin couldn't show up. I wish everyone had appreciated her more in the beginning and Bad Alex was badass, yeah Razz

. I was glad when Dominic "vanished" or he might've been killed but this is Disney so they don't go into detail.

The incest joke... I never thought Disney would do that o.o
LOL Mason killed Dominic by pushing him off the Tower of Pisa WHOA o.o
